Massage therapist was very nice. I asked to pay attention to my neck and upper back. He did concentrate on my neck, but I feel like my back massage was very swift. Esthetician for my facial was also very nice. However, the extractions were painful as I feel she used her nails and pushed upgrades/products too much.

I come here often for massages and find that the massages are often shorter than the 50 minutes that I pay for. The massage therapist typically arrives in the waiting room around 5-10 minutes after the start time of the appointment, and by the time I am starting the massage it is 15-20 minutes into the hour. Then the massage ends at 10 minutes to the hour. So it is a shorter massage than 50 minutes. However, it is still a decent value for the price and I've had a good experience with my therapists.

The warmer did not work in the bed

The receptionist went into detail of the entire procedure and was very polite. Mike was very attentive and explained what each body part was used for and gave tips on how to help with a headache naturally.

The massage was excellent. However my esthetician did not do such a good job waxing my legs and bikini area. My bikini wax was uneven from one side to the other, and not straight. My legs had large patches I had to point out to her that she missed (she then went back to these patches), and then there were still large patches I noticed when I got home.

The massage itself is expensive and having to give a large tip makes me uncomfortable.

Usually massages in the same price range are a full 60 minutes. I felt that the quality and length of time for my massage could be higher for the cost.

The therapist was wonderful but the receptionists did not perform up to my expectation of what I know Hand and Stone receptionists can be. Based on previous experiences, I have high expectations of the friendly and welcoming nature of the office staff that was very much not fulfilled at this location.

It was fine, nothing is ever perfect. A little pricey, but it was a good experience.

My home location is in Willow Grove, PA. I went to the Center City location because it's near my work. While convenient, the Center City location felt rushed. At my home location, the front desk is quiet and there is more space. There are too many chairs in Center City. Also, while my therapist was friendly, I felt like the Peppermint scent was not as strong as Willow Grove. The massage itself was a satisfactory and would see Sara great - she was quite helpful and effective.
