Hand and Stone

This was a very pleasant experience from the start to finish. Danielle was very professional and listened to my concerns regarding my requests and needs during the massage. The owner was also extremely friendly and welcoming while waiting for my appointment. I have already recommended this location to a friend and they have set up their own appointment! I look forward to my monthly appointments, the wellness program is a no brainer at this point!

It takes a lot for me to be highly satisfied which is not necessarily a bad thing. I’m satisfied with everything except the only thing was I was socially anxious to have a deeper conversation with the massage therapist for fear of making her uncomfortable, although I definitely know what is appropriate and what is not. I was still scared of rejection but that is in no way the massage therapists fault and it has to do with my social anxiety and disability. I really liked working with Crystal and I highly recommend her and would like to work with her again. I just don’t want to creep people out due to the way I talk (my speech impediment), which is why I wasn’t as relaxed as I wanted to be but I might get more courage next time.

Table was uncomfortable for my head and neck . The linens felt flimsy and not warm and cozy .

I was not aware of the price difference from a member price to non member price. When I asked about it, I was not offered to sign up for a membership.

I was a member at the Durham location but moved to Cary in January. I find it inconvenient that my membership can’t transfer to Cary. Having to book over the phone and explain each time that I’m a member in Durham but want to book in Cary is slightly annoying. Ending my membership in Durham to sign up with the Cary location is an inconvenience; there should be some way to process a transfer.

Over all it was a good experience but during the facial there were some people talking at full volume in the hallway while I was trying to relax. It didn’t take away too much from the experience but it did take a little away and I could tell my esthetician wasn’t very happy about it. Overall it was a pretty good experience but I wouldn’t say the best I’ve ever had at this particular hand and stone.

I am pleased to be able to get massages on a regular basis because the program at Hand and Stone is affordable.

Good experience, nothing stands out as outstanding though for the top rating

The massage therapist did not use the firmness i requested and did not focus on the specific area I requested. Ie. requested shoulder focus but barley touched my shoulders - focused more on mid to low back

Just a bit expensive. But I love Stacy.
