I love the overall experience, but what I don't love is being charged $10/month for freezing my membership. I also don't like being charged (or guest charged) when they use one of my credits. I have a busy life w/ work/home/kids and now have 7 credits since I haven't been able to make it in. The only displeasure and the only reason I hesitate to recommend hand&stone to friends is because of the "penalty". I feel I should be able to freeze my account for free. If I want to gift a credit to my mom or sister, I should be able to do that for free. I already paid for the credits!

My therapist wore gloves during the massage, which impacted my experience. I wasn't aware he had put on gloves until the massage was already underway, so I spent a good portion of my session trying to figure out why his hands felt so strange. I understand that wearing gloves is a therapist's choice, whether for personal preference or private health concerns, but I think I would not have been as uncomfortable if he'd simply let me know he would be wearing gloves during our session. Once I realized he had gloves on, I was able to physically relax a bit more, but couldn't stop my mind racing through reasons he wouldn't have mentioned them at the beginning.

Wanted a different massage but wasn’t offered the others. Wasn’t sure if was offered to members. No problems with staff just felt unsure to ask questions

Very few extractions were made, which was the main reason I wanted the detox facial and microderm. My appointment also wasn't even an hour for both treatments. I will definitely wait next time to be able to see Shayla!

I would have liked more time spent on extractions as I had specifically mentioned 2 times before the treatment started.

I like the ease of hand and stone. But I don’t think all esthetician’s understand skin the way they should. Also I gave up a service to upgrade my facial and didn’t feel like the microderm service was worth it.

I went for a facial and I have quite a few credits on my account. My facial was good, she did microdermabrasion and a light treatment. What upset me is that I was never told this was going to be using it 3 of my credits. I would have had 3 hour long facials instead of 1 hour treatment with a combo of services. I felt like she was tying to cram a lot into one appointment to use up my credits.
