This was my second visit to Hand and Stone. During both visits I felt I was being "nickel and dimed". $10 for 5 drops of essential oils as an upgrade! I could buy an entire bottle for $10. I was asked if I had problem areas, which I did, and when they were finished working on those areas I was told on both occasions next time they will have to charge extra for these specific areas. I feel like anything other than a normal massage is extra. Too many extra for this or extra for that. A massage for members is $49.99 but what is being deducted from my account is $59.99 I asked what the extra $10 was for. The answer I got did not seem worth $10 to me.I'm paying $10 extra so I can get a discount on other things? Doesn't make sense to me. Also, if a massage is $50 why is an extra half hour $30? Why not $25? At this point, not sure about my membership.

Would have liked more explanation as to what the therapist was doing and why.

There was some confusion with my first appointment that kinda ruined my Zen. The front desk manager made up with taking 50% off my facial which was supposed to be a duel service and I had to reschedule due to what I found to be a bit of an unreliable employee who was to do my facial. The front desk was great in taking care of it for me and glad I did re-book cause Rami WAS THE BEST!!!

The massage part of the facial - was not a massage at all - very VERY light touch.

I filled out an appointment request online and no one ever called me back. Then the girl who did my services was alright but I specifically said that I wanted extractions and then I went home and had to remove several blackheads on my own right after the treatment. Also the front desk totally messed up my credit card payments. I will use my membership but I will likely go to a different location who treats me better and actually listens to my needs.

The scheduling system on line could use work. Therapist that are working there are not listed as options to choose.
