Hand and Stone

I left the reason in the previous comment box, regarding members value and price increase to existing members. Felt there was no value to existing members, no incentive, reward, or extra on continuing to stay a member of your going to continue to increase membership on existing members. Doesn't encourage loyalty and will only deter from longevity of customer.

I had an appointment at 9:00 on Sunday and upon arrival at 8:55 my therapist was standing outside of a locked Hand and Stone. Around 9:10 somebody arrived to unlock the door and then I was rushed back to the room to start the massage 15 minutes late. The background music wasn't turned on unit 9:45 so it was just strangely quite in the room. The actual massage was good, just the late start, feeling rushed and no music hurt the experience.

The massage was good, but maybe more aggressive than I needed. tender next day. I know he's a sports therapist and good at what he does but I mainly come to de-stress. I will be back in a few days though for a longer session to get the knots out of my back.

Even knowing I was going to try to be sold a membership going in, I was still a bit annoyed that the $200 fee gets mentioned after already accepting the rest of the info. They flip the chart back and forth so fast and throw a bunch of info at you. Maybe that is your marketing model? I almost said forget it at that point, but I really liked my therapist and want to continue to see him at A reasonable price which is definitely not your non membership price. Other than that everyone was very nice and accommodating.

I couldn't understand why I was first told a price for the membership, but after my service was performed I decide to enroll for the $ 79.95 per month and than came the curve ball, I needed to pay an extra $ 200.00, I asked why , nobody could give an answer, Alison dropped to $ 100.00. I paid the $ 179.95, I didn't get the impression of being a business happy to have client or happy to work there, I just hope you don't close your business and I waisted my money.

Needed more work on my neck

50 min hands on time for $80 a month. Not worth the price and it actually is 43-45 min. Also while I understand the draping policy when I ask for low back and they only work mid back is ridiculous.

Just the surroundings noise if other people during the massage in other rooms or staff lounge area unsure where it was coming from

Try different facial add on and it did not make a different. Purchased products and veen using 2 yrs and did not make a differeo

I had booked a hot stone massage, but the therapist seemed unaware of this and had to heat the stones after I told her. Front desk had trouble explaining why I owed extra $5 for my 80 minute hot stone massage and foot treatment, when on all previous occasions, two massage credits covered the whole package. Also when I asked how many credits I had on my account, it seemed like there might have been a discrepancy in what was on the record vs what I had been told previously.
