Hand and Stone

Masseuse was creepy and inappropriate. Asked if I had shaved my legs just for her. Pulled my hair. Over-touched and talked. Felt VERY uncomfortable.

I’m just use to a resort... so my expectations are high...

The therapist barely spent any time on my feet which were a problem area as well as should be included in any massage. My face and head were not even touched. The therapist did not know about radio frequency ablation which should be known since it is a common treatment for chronic pain

Overall I was satisfied, but the firm pressure felt more like bruising and sharp pains. I have had other deep tissue massages where this was not the case. Actually had bruise points the next day. Also requested more focus on neck and back because I had been rear-ended recently and felt that wasn't done. Still had a good experience, but not best.

Therapist asked if I would like to try the CBD oil but did not disucss the cost or inform me that there would be an additional charge for it. I noticed absolutely no difference after this massage from others in terms of the supposed added benefit of the CBD oil to relieve pain. For a $30 upcharge I would have expected to notice some improvement, even if slightly. Didn't find out there was an additional charge until check out.

Really enjoyed my facial. She seemed to be knowledgeable in skin care and provided suggestions for at home care.

I am not happy with the increase in monthly fee next month. I will not be able to upgrade my service as often and my tip will also lessen.

I have been a member for a while and really enjoy the services there. For the most part, my experiences have been satisfactory! This time was a little disappointing because my friend's therapist was 10-12 minutes late. Sadly, this happened once before to me with the same therapist. She was apologetic and said she was late because she didn't get the room on time to set up for her appointment. This happened at least three times.There needs to be a better method to prevent this from happening again. I am not sure why a therapist is not assigned a specific room for the day so there is better control. Fortunately, my friend still enjoyed her massage. Because it was her first time she had nothing to compare to but I know how much better it could have been. My suggestion to every therapist to ask what the client's preference is (type of pressure, oil, lotion, scalp massage or not, etc.), regardless if it is a repeat customer because each time may require a different need. Other than these minor suggested changes, I truly am satisfied with the service at Hand and Stone.

I am not happy with the rate hike. Services have not changed to reflect the increase in membership fees.

This experience was good. But several months ago I had a bad experience and the manager never followed up with me as I had asked. Also, many of my experiences here have been inconsistent. A therapist will be very good on one visit and then bad on the next. I have also had issues with time being shorted in the past. This most recent visit was satisfactory.
