Hand and Stone

The facial did not have a very good massage. Other facials included massage of hands and feet and always of face and neck. This one did not. Also, I did not see any difference in my skin and I paid the upgraded price. It was just OK.

The esthetician was out of samples, which is always a treat at the end of the service when they tell you they’re giving you samples of something. Also, the receptionist when checking out wasn’t able to answer my questions regarding peel pricing and how it works as an add on when the esthetician told me it’s a 30 minute service. So I’d be paying more for the service that’s half the time? I’m not sure she understood my question. Maybe she did and I just don’t understand the answer. Regardless I left confused without sample product.

Satisfied with massage and very satuwith facial.

Sore the next day

On my first visit I was pressured to sign up for the membership. I signed up and scheduled my next visit in a month. On my second visit I was then asked to run the membership early because the auto withdrawal had not processed yet.

The day I had my appointments was the day it down poured outside. So I was running late, as was my masseuse, so I had to wait longer for my appointment. I completely understood the situation.

The room was very warm.

I was very satisfied. I find the rooms to be a bit warm and do not always want to listen to the fan. The majority of the receptionists are very nice, but I do find a few to be somewhat indifferent.

I have been a Hand and Stone customer for years now. I scheduled my appointment for Sunday. I got a call Friday that they were confirming my appt for Saturday. They booked me on he wrong day so then we had to use different therapists. I was told I would be with Denise, who I had never seen before , but that was ok. When I got there they put me with Beverly, who I have to say is a nice lady, but she gave me one of the worst massages I have ever had in my life. I will not go back to her.

Room was a bit warm so the hot towels placed on me made me warmer. My daughter and I had a simultaneous massage in a “couples room”. She reported to me that her masseuse had long nails and felt them on her back.
