I was highly satisfied with my experience, however, I am hesitant to return due to costs. The cost of massages are a lot higher than other competitors in the area.

I have vision difficulty; navigating websites is hard; i can barely see this font. I gave up with the website and called to book an appointment. I confused the receptionist ( due to a reading error on the web) by asking fir a facial appointment with someone who is not an esthetician. She asked me the same questions repeatedly until she figured out my error; which was not until she said she booked me a massage when the first thing I asked for was a facial. And I repeated several times I wanted a facial. Then she explained this was her first day on the job and I realized she didn't yet know everyone's name and position. It would have been better for her too have asked someone to help her figure out the problem instead of going round and round with me. Otherwise she was good.

When I first walked in the front desk person was on the phone and the other person was not able to help me since it was her first day. The person on the phone did not say anything to me expect for to point me toward an ipad. I tried to sign it and I was not on the list. She then looked up handed me an ipad while still on the phone. The facial started 10 min late because they could not get the cryo machine working but then tried the light therapy and that was miserable. Felt like she was pointing the light right in my eye to get out of giving me a facial. It was a find interaction but not great. She kept calling my skin dry but my skin is oily and I left an oily mess. It just was not pleasant.

I love Hand and Stone and my esthetician. The points system is ridiculous and I forget it exists because I can never do anything with my points.

The esthetician was very nice and understand she is just learning. Really wish I could have seen someone with lots of experience who could have maybe targeted what I needed. Had i known, I would have waited for another appointment. I also felt VERY pressured to join the monthly club which I did not appreciate in front of other people. Sadly, I joined then had to cancel membership on Monday only to learn I don't get the $40.00 back!!! This was NEVER mentioned. The girl said if I cancelled within 3 days,money would be credited back which led me to believe that included the $40! That's not a lot to some people but it is to me and I fell for the good old upsell and spent $140 extra thinking the treatment would help but didn't. So disapointed.

i had an emergency - gas line - at home. i called as a courtesy to say I would be maybe 15 minutes late. i was able to arrive at my appointment time, but they had me wait 15 minutes for my appointment. They pushed my times (i had a facial following my massage) so I was able to get my full time of service, but I didn't know that until I was in my session with the massage therapist. Reception knew I was upset, but let me stew about it. One said she'd check with the therapist, but never got back to me. It put me in a foul mood (i was already cranky having to deal with the gas line issue). Fortunately, my therapist Terri - new to me this appointment - was calming and great.

When I registered online, I asked for a female masseuse and was surprised when I got there. This was my first visit and I had a male masseuse. It was OK but I just would’ve been a bit more comfortable if I had a female masseuse.

My massage therapist was great, honestly one of the better massages I've had in a long time. But since you're asking my opinion the facility could use some cleaning and sprucing. I'm not sure if the speakers were blown or if there's some kind of static issue with the sound system but listening to static in the speakers does not help with the ambiance. Also the linens were perfectly acceptable but you could tell they have some miles on them.
