Hi have used hand and stone many times. I am typically highly satisfied. The quality of the massage therapist definitely does very. The massage therapist I had this appointment used way too much pressure and I kept reminding him to back off. It made the massage rather stressful rather than relaxing because It was a bit painful at times. Everything else about the experience was great

my appointment was cancelled without my knowing. I had confirmed C to the appointment via text and showed up to find out my 2 appointments had been cancelled. I was able to be accomodated as there were no-shows and call outs but I never cancelled. I would have been pretty bummed had I not gotten my appointments because I had the day off and work a complex schedule.

It was just a mediocre massage, I've had better but have also had worse

It's just a little less than ideal to get a massage in a new location with a therapist one has never met, so that was the biggest factor. It was also my first massage in 2 years because of Covid - nobody's fault. The room felt a bit small and the white noise machine was a little loud. Overall still a good experience.

I did not receive the member mondays discount on the item I purchased. I didn’t think I would need to remind the person ringing me up about it. That was my only hiccup. Madison was phenomenal as usual.

the appointment times are very strict and often feel rushed. this feels baked into the business model and doesn't enhance the experience. also a towel to wipe off the oil and/or a space to relax post massage would be nice!

I have not been able to book appointments due to availability. I have had good massage therapist and then when I want to book with them they are no longer working there. I was going monthly and haven’t been in about 9 months due to these things.

I was gifted a gift card for this company in January of 2020 for a prenatal massage. I called in and booked the massage over the phone, and received a confirmation. I took off time from work for this, but when I showed up they did not have any record of me and refused to re-book me. Then I had my baby, and covid happened. this past january I began trying to book a facial to utilize my gift card. I contacted the charlottesville location close to 10 times, but never received any kind of response. Finally I contact the cary town location and was able to get an appointment. The massage was OK, but not impressive. I've had better experiences at locations closer to my home, and will not venture to utilize your companies services ever again unless i'm gifted another gift card, which I will discourage.
