My massage therapist first asks if I have any concerns or specific areas I might like worked on. Then he follows through with the right amount of pressure, often finding places that are the cause of my issues that I didn't realize. He is extremely knowledgeable about the body, and teaches me so that I know more about how I move and how to better care for myself. I really appreciate his taking time to help me be a better me.
