Therapist did not provide the type of massage I asked for. He cut my session short be close to 10 minutes.

The cost of a regularly priced massage is much more than the spa I typically go to. I was expecting more relief from pain than I received. Check out was confusing and not as welcoming as check in

I find that most of the upgrades I’m offered are not effective on my skin. I feel like i wasted some money on stuff that doesn’t work. Also my face is too used to the classic facial. I don’t get much benefit from it. Only when I gave microdermabrasion do I see a difference. I still love my esthetician but not sure the membership provides much value at this point. And I don’t find the upgrades effective.

The skin products are expensive. The facial prices have dramatically increased. I had to use two $79 packages in addition to paying and extra $20.00. Hand and Stone charges high end rates without the luxury of a private waiting room. In addition you have to quickly get dressed after your service.

I've had massages from several different team members. I feel for the majority, their massages are just on the relaxing side and not as much therapeutic. When I've had massages not at H&S, they seem (I know this sounds awful, sorry) to understand muscle structure more and therefore the massage is more therapeutic versus basically rubbing my body down. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my massages at H&S. I just use these for relaxing time and if I need something more therapeutic, I go elsewhere.

I felt the massage was cut short. The website states it should be an hour but the massage was only about 45 minutes (I looked at the start/finish time). Is it supposed to be 50 minutes? I felt like with the increasing member price plus the fact that I am a member, this should not be happening.

I was welcomed into the room 10 min late. Then had to change and wait for her to come back to start. And the service ended 5 min early. This isn’t the first time. If this keeps happening I will end my membership.

I gave ratings that was fitting for service received. I don't like the hustle to becoming a member. Nor I do not like having a credit card on file.

The waxing is good, just not great. The massages and facials are 100%
