Hand and Stone

The massage was too much pressure, not initially but when I arrived home the following day my body was tender. This isn't the usual however this was the case at the time of the survey.

I was mostly satisfied with everything as always. I've been to several Hand and Stones and we actually travel a little further from home to go to this one because we like it so much better than the rest. I will say that the computers are always slow though, so that's the one thing that might be worth looking into. I was hoping to check how many services I had accrued during the pandemic, and we were unable to because the computer was struggling. No big deal, but it seems like it happens a lot that those machines are painfully slow.

I was highly satisfied w/ the massage and the therapist. I was not satisfied w/ the safety protocols and the size of the room/ventilation was absent. I felt safer getting a massage in November and will not go back til I am vaccinated.

Still had pain under my shoulder blade after the massage but it was somewhat less. Looking back, l think more time spent and pressure in that area might have helped more.

I had told the therapist that I couldn't have my head down all the way on the table due to discomfort, but she did anyway and told me that she needed to in order to work on my neck. I found this part of the massage to be extremely uncomfortable due to the positioning of my head. Other than that, everything was great.

The experience was fine. I have has therapists I liked a bit more.

My therapist was very friendly but my areas of concern were not addressed. The pressure was intense at times and I did speak up and tell her to back off. My hands, feet and neck were not massaged at all.

I do not like the fact that I was basically penalized for not being a member. The cost was unreasonable in my opinion and the person did not take the time to explain the charges to me in advance of charging my gift card. I was a former member but I was not able to get there consistently due to the demands of my work and when I did I was still accruing excessive charges. I will be seeking other resources. It was my first facial and Katie was very good skilled and accommodating; so I did make another appointment with her. This place is a bit pricey for me as well as were the products that were suggested.

Massage therapist was amazing (Abby). It’s always tough to get appointments though. Calling is the best way (I’d prefer to do it online) and my appointments keep getting cancelled.

The therapist was a little hurried to me ..I mentioned I needed to use the rest room and he actually told me it is better to go over intake first, how does he know how bad I need to use the rest room? He also ended 5 minutes early and the worst part of the experience was his overbearing heavy breathing...It made it IMPOSSIBLE to relax! The music didn't even drown it out! Maybe he should look into getting a different kind of mask!
