Didn't start on time, reception service not great, didn't give me any options to add services, sheets always smell weird, 50 mins not enough time, should be 60 mins

I was a longtime client of Sharon's who was the best massage therapist I ever had. Prior to that I used Cindy and Bleu and was happy with them also. Since Sharon's departure I have tried two other therapists and have not enjoyed my massage. Both use quick movements throughout and the massage is not relaxing.

I would have appreciated given the names of the products used during my session.

The massage technique used was different than what I was use to. I normally see the same therapist and I guess Im use to her pressure and her techniques l. Some things this therapist did I did like and they were things I never had done by my previous therapist. Each therapist have their own style. I just like Casey's style better.

I don't believe I got a full hour facial.

I usually go to another spa. It is much more expensive though. You begin a spa experience immediately. There is soft music, muted lighting and a very nice fragrance. They offer some other amenities also. I appreciate the value at Hand and Stone and therefore go there. The value for the service is better.

I needed to to ask therapist to slow down speed of massage. The shoulder strokes were often painful and caused a "clicking" of the my muscles. This did not sound or feel relaxing. I chose the muscle therapy treatment. The therapist mixed the bioflex with the massage oil which seemed to decrease its effectiveness.

I felt the massage therapist did not spend equal time and equal "muscle" work on the body - did not seem like it had a flow but more random. He is young and I am used to older more seasoned massage therapists. It was not bad, I did get relief in lower back pain, he just needs some fine tuning.

I was expecting to having more than just a cup of plain water, maybe some water with mint, lemon or some kind of fruit in it. I felt like now that your massage is over it's time to go. No collecting yourself afterwards.

The receptionist at the Flourtown branch was very rude and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and upset before I even went in for my services. There was a mix up in my membership and a misunderstanding on my part but that does not mean the receptionist had to make me feel horrible and was speaking about my finical error in front of other customers. Customer service and satisfaction should be a priority in your business. The massage and facial technicians were excellent. Then when I came out to the desk again the same receptionist was confrontational again. I was going to renew my membership but walked out without doing so because of her behavior. Your business is to make people feel healthy and well not emotionally drained and punished. I checked online to figure out the membership contract and am still confused by the pricing(and I have a masters degree). I have been a customer for a long time and so have my children and I live in the surrounding neighborhood. Even if a customer is wrong, the employee must treat them with respect and dignity-business 101. My body felt great but my emotions and my pride felt punished.
