I’ve been a member for six years and just recently switched locations. This new location keeps trying to uosell me on something my other location just did. It’s not necessary and annoying

I felt as though my massage therapist did not understand the difference between pressure and speed. He was very rough when I asked for deep pressure. I needed soothing pressure along my muscles. I felt as though he was massaging my bones not my muscles at times. Being a health professional and knowing the muscles I found it odd for the masseuse to not have an understanding of muscles.

To clarify , both my facial (marina) and massage therapist (Gina) were great. It was hard to relax due to the constant banging of the construction. It’s ashame that the staff work really hard , but that the construction is soo loud. At one point there was such a loud bang I was startled and after that could not totally relax as I would have liked to. It may have been helpful if the staff could have indicated that this may be an issue as I was scheduling my appointment.

This was my first facial and I believe she needed more time to deep clean my skin. She should have asked me if I wanted to spend more time so she could finish the job. Would have been happy to pay for extra time. Otherwise she was terrific.

Not really sure - feel like everything is OK - not special.

No one reason. It just met my expectation but not overly exceeded.

I think it would be helpful to have on your website a description of the different therapists (along with photo perhaps) as this is how it is at my hair salon. It would be helpful to see exactly the training and experience each therapist has. I do love going to Hand and Stone. However, I have had 3 different therapists in the last 3 months and each gives such a different massage (yesterday's therapist was very good but did not do my head area, stopped at neck and shoulders and did not feel complete). There was still a few minutes left to my massage.

I have had a much better experience at a local spa that cost less money. It had a better ambiance, separate rooms to change, with a robe provided, and no extra cost for the use of essential oils to be incorporated into the massage. The massage ended with a complementary use of a steam shower, including high-quality soaps and shampoos offered. All of this was at a lower cost (for the same amount of time: 50-55 minutes).

It's a matter of personal preference, but I did not care for the choice of music. I found it to be distracting and not at all relaxing. Again, a matter of personal preference.
