Hand and Stone

Two massage therapists I have had have made the mistake of being salesy under the guise that they are the ones who can fix my ongoing issues. I would request staff be advised to do their best and let clients decide on their own they would like to see that particular therapist’s services again. I do not appreciate feeling like my massage came with some type of sales pitch, subtle or not. I want to relax and allowed to decide for myself, on the merit of the quality of service I received to book the same therapist again. I find it somewhat tacky/unprofessional/pushy. There is no need to name anyone as I’m sure the intent was for my benefit. It is my preference and desire all staff avoid this type of behavior. Thanks.

Staff is very plasant Therapist is knowledgeable. Very clean spa.

My preferred therapist, whom I have previously established rapport with and is familiar with how I like my massages, is no longer with hand and stone.

The cost if you do not sign up monthly. Tips cannot be on a credit card. 50 minutes instead of an hour.

I scheduled 2 hour appointment that was to include a hot stone massage and a cold stone facial. I also purchases a hand treatment when I got to my appt. I did not receive the hot stones but rather a regular massage. My appointment lasted only 1.5 hours but should have been 2 hours and 15 minutes.

I already explained it. My therapist was not available even though when I checked in nobody told me until i questioned why my appointment was late. The therapist that was available was excellent though. She also gave me extra time since I stared 10 minutes late.

It was an overall great experience. I tend to not give the highest rating unless there was something exceptional about the visit. It’s for that reason only that I didn’t select highly satisfied.

Very difficult to get appointments, not able to get the same therapists, my historical data is there, why can’t the receptionist look up what I have always had in the past and get me what I want. Simple, not complicated and proactive customer service. Many times I have called and they try to sel me something else. Then tell me they can’t book it. I did not have this problem in West Windsor NJ location.

It was just overall a great relaxing experience .

I was highly satisfied with my Hand and Stone experience.
