I prefer another location but they are always booked. At the Newtown location I am not able to put the tip on my card which is a problem since I rarely carry cash. Also, the aesthetician did not try to chat with me and I like that a lot since I am not one for idle chatter. However, she didn't tell me anything about my skin, what she was doing or why, etc. and I do like to at least know how she thinks my skin is doing and whether she is cleaning, treating, moisturizing, etc. for info and to help me know whether we are nearing the end of the session or not. I often do upgrades but she didn't ask or suggest anything.

Took almost 24 hours to hear back about an online appointment request, otherwise it was fantastic.

I'd like to return, and appreciated the cost of my first treatment. Unfortunately, I am not interested in a monthly plan in order to get the same service at the same price. I'm not sure what I will do.

Don't think it is fair to pay a 10 dollar fee if my wife and I want to use the others appointment. It is the same account on the same charge card.

The massage was fine but not fantastic. The therapist did a good job but it wasn't very comparable to other massages that I've had in the past. I would go back because the facility was fine, but I'd probably try a different person or service.

I want to start by saying I have been a few different hand and stone locations in the past. They are all lovely and I have only had massages and they have all been wonderful. This is the first time I have had a facial in 25 years. A friend of mine recommended it. She doesn't like messages she describe the facial as relaxing to me. So maybe I was expecting a different experience. I felt like through out the whole facial I was being up sold. From the beginning to the end. I found that highly annoying. Now with that being said I didn't realize there were different facial available I just signed up for one. By the time I was done with my facial I had to use two of my packages plus owed 40$ for a trail kit of lotions and potions I'll probably never use. I know I could have said no. But she make u feel like it would be such a benifit and kind guilty not to get it. I of course will return to hand and stone for a messages and probably a facial later in the year but I will know that the facial is all business and not for relaxation. My face looks and feels great.

Had to tell therapist she was used too much pressure in certain body areas. She immediately rectified technique used but it interrupted the relaxation of the massage.

The massage therapist was too "mechanical", if that makes sense. It wasn't an overly relaxing experience. I will not go to him again, but rather try out the other massage therapists available.
