Adam Cook is the reason that I went to Hand & Stone. He is a professional but I also feel that I have a good personal relationship with him.

I would have preferred that the massage been a bit deeper, focused around my areas of pain for more time. I was hoping for a focus on head and neck and that was only a few minutes. But it was a good massage over all, just not quite what I was going for.

I appreciate all the signage for "quiet" but while in the massage I was able to hear people talking and laughing in the room next door which was distracting. I understand clients have to speak with their RMTs at the start of the appointment, but given the thin walls, if there is an appointment next door, they should try to keep the conversation at low volume.

First massage since March, felt tight and unable to fully relax. I think I should have been asked if the pressure was in order. Amount of work on the neck was becoming too much, i didnt want to tell her, but finally had to.

The massage therapist was overly gentle and I asked her to concentrate on my calve area. The time spent on that area was not enough to address the problem. The massage was “nice” as opposed to “fixing an issue”. Perhaps on a subsequent visit it would be deeper and more targeted

The price was quite high for the given treatment. There was no detailed information about my skin type/needs and ways to look after my skin after the facial.

Due to bitten by a bug I was a bit upset and was unable to enjoy massage after bite . It was unfortunate and seemed so unlikely to have this happen due to I react poorly to bites had to go to walk-in and get antibiotic for infection
