Hand and Stone

Reception area very dusty and several employees a bit loud chatting up front. Upgraded to peppermint foot scrub and after a few minutes was told they were out so had to pick a less disirable fragrance.hot stone upgrade as well and it wasn't what people told me about. I was told they lay them on you and then massage, but that did not happen.

Receptionist took my name and number to call me back for available appointments. Not sure if i would have received a call back had i not called again after 45 minutes.

The music in the room was a little loud. While the reception area was clean, it was not particularly cozy or inviting. I was not told of any products that were available for purchase. While I appreciate not being pressured to buy anything I consider it interesting to know that there were products to be offered.

I have had several massages at this location and this was the first time I ever had to wait for more than 2 or 3 minutes for my massage to begin. Usually, I am barely under the sheet when there is a knock on the door. Also at the end of the massage, my masseuse went to get the usual glass of water that is offered (and appreciated) and I waited for over 5 minutes for her to return. Actually one of the other personnel saw me standing in the hallway and went to look for her for me. I have had other massages with this same girl and she is usually very good so maybe she was just having a bad day.

I asked for a full body massage. Back and legs. She started with my back and rarely touched my next. She then had me flip over and did the top of my legs. She then said "whoops, I forgot to do the bottom of your legs / feet. She then did my neck for about 30 seconds and that was it. I was NOT satisfied with this massage therapist. It felt like she was just rubbing my back rather then a massage. Last night was a total waste of money. I hate to say bad things about people but I really thought last night was throwing $50.00 out the window. My daughter that is 13 could have done better to be honest.

To me, there is not enough benefit to becoming a member. I think that points should be valued more and there should be complimentary product samples. I normally have a pleasant experience, but I'm thinking about cancelling the membership.

All the therapists have been very nice and do a good job. I've had a couple PAST experiences that I was not happy with. Main concern is that when I say I want a "relaxing" massage, no hard pressure.... they sometimes forget and it is uncomfortable. Some people take a lot of time "fluffing" the sheets.

I was talked into a membership and decided to join. I like the idea of getting a monthly facial at a member price. The only apprehension I had is if I need to cancel will it be easy or will I get hassled. I want to try the membership out but if I can no longer afford I would like to cancel without a great deal of work.

I enoyed my facial, but I felt the room temperature was way to warm. Especially when I had my everyday clothes on from the waist down under the blanket and sheet. Then with the steam on my face it felt more like a sauna. Hopefully the room will be cooler next time.

Massage ambience staff etc were "just ok" nothing special
