The check in staff were very nice. I was a little disappointed with the housekeeping. More than once I had to go hunt down one to get items that should have been left in the room like shampoo, and coffee. All minor things but they are items that are just expected at the rate being charged. Multiple times I went to use supposedly clean towels to find hair all over them when opened up. I could chalk up one time to hair not coming off in the wash, however this happened with at least 5 towels I opened up on our stay. They never changed the bedding on our entire visit even though it was stated in a card that they left on the bed that it would get changed the third day we stayed. Again nothing major however if promised then it should be done. If they skip that then It makes you wonder if the bedding was changed before you began your stay. I did notice that they have a spray bottle that they sprayed on bedding. It would give the illusion of clean sheets. :( Hoping this is not the case though. We were very disappointed with the valet service. For $36 plus tax you would not expect to have to wait 15 plus minutes for them to get your car. The explanation was that the parking lot they use is far away. :(

great place to stay

Staff has been excellent... However, the conference I was attending had 80-100 facilities managers, and the hotel was not on good shape. Several of us have complained of dirty vents. The place just seems a bit run down. This is not what I was expecting from a doubletree by Hilton hotel.
