Dirty rooms

Room was ok. Pretty clean. Door handle was extremely hard to close and made a horrific sound. Not too pleasant for the people around us since we left for work at 4:30AM. We were on the third floor and when we walked down the hall it sounded like we were in an old two-story house with wood floors. Surprising since this was a relatively new building. Will probably look elsewhere next time.

We have a mobile business so hotels are our life. Our first choice is usually HI because they have been consistently good in the past and economical. That seems to be changing. This HIE was awful. The desk help were very friendly but that's where it ended. This room was on the first floor next to the side exit. Very noisy. Door rattled every time someone went into their room in the general vicinity. We stuffed wash cloths under the door. The toilet seat was very worn and broken. The ceiling was falling in over the shower. They need updating. Then the clincher was waking up at 4:00AM to go to our job and finding a roach on the wall above our bed. Never again...
