Hand and Stone

My experience at Hand and Stone in Summerville has been outstanding. I have nothing but great things to say, Joni is my massage therapist and she is so attentive and caring. She is always upbeat and very kind! I have Rheumatoid arthritis and have been suffering with joint pain and stiffness for some time now. The doctors have not been able to give me any relief. I good friend of mine suggested massage therapy and since then I have been coming to Hand and Stone every month. I always tell Joni thank you so much because she is able to give me pain relief and I always walk out of my massage feeling more flexible with less pain. Which is a huge accomplishment because RA causes a lot of joint stiffness. Joni has a way of stretching my joints and it provides me so much relief. She is truly an important part of my clinical team for RA. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all that you do in helping keep me in motion.

Adrian was amazing!! I could tell he was new because I had not seen him before and after talking to him he said he had only been there a month. No other therapist has been like him because he was very personable. He wasn’t focused on trying to sell me a product or get me to pick a service the next time just so the company would make money. You could tell he really wanted to recommend the different add-ons if you really needed it. I like how he is about establishing a plan for his clients. He even gave me homework to do, incorporating stretching into my daily routine, and even trying yoga being that I workout a lot. That made me want to come back and actually stay on track with my massages because normally I would schedule them whenever and start accumulating so many packages. I will be definitely booking with him next time!

The massage therapist was very personable. She made sure the pressure used was acceptable. She suggested other services without being pushy.

Very relaxing and friendly place to go. It is clean and soothing when you first enter. The staff alway greet you upon entering. Appointments are on time.
