Despite the fact that I had far surpassed the point of being able to safely drive on my back two tires and living 2 hours from home and my father's job just moving him overseas for the next 3+ years, when I can manage to get away from both work and school and make the 2 hour drive home, my tires are always last to cross my mind. I happen to catch a glimpse of the metal band of my tire aS I was washing it after dark. Thank goodness the garage light shined on it just right or it would have been too late when i realized they were as bad as they were. Not feeling trusting or confident with just going to the Firestone location that is 6 miles from my apartment After I simply called to ask if they had two tires in the size I needed in stock. Luckily my dad has taught me to be self sufficient in all areas including car care so I knew it was very risky and even more so being after dark, but worst case, I can change a flat and keep going. I first made a call to Ms. Ty at the Jackson, TN-Vann drive location, and only had to say "Hey Ty, It's "jddks kfkdkdb"...she immediately cut me off and responded, "time for your back two tires to be replaced and the works right? Usual 10:30am appt time ok? If so we can't wait to see you then!" She by far handles the stress and fast paced atmosphere her job presents with the upmost class and goes far beyond the call of duty. Knowing how much I rely on my car for long distance driving or last minute trips I never want to doubt my safety. Trays the exact reason I drive in all about 3 hours to specifically go to that store because of Ty. We are a family of 5, but aren't just a bunch of customer id's when we call or are in. It can be 4 months, and you can start talking to her just picking up where you guys left off last. Dangerous or not, I just but buckled up, and slowly and carefully made the 2 hour drive home so I could be there this morning and as always, am so glad I did!!
