Holiday Inn

Had to attend a BETA CONVENTION and stayed there and fell in love and the breakfast was off the chain.

Loved it! So pretty, modern and clean!

Staff was friendly and very accommodating

Great place super clean hotel

The over all hotel appeared to be clean and nice. We were told we could check in at 3 but when we arrived we were told out room would not be ready until 4. (Several other people arrived at the same time and were on the same situation) At 4 I went to check on the room and they hadn't even stated cleaning it. Since we had an event that we needed to get ready for I asked if I could clean the room. I cleaned the room myself and we still didn't get in the room until almost 4:45.

A friend of mine was staying there while she was in town. I went up to her room while waiting on her to get ready and since I work for hotels she showed me a few things in her room. First, her sheets were paper thin...so worn they were about to fall apart. Second, the towels in the bathroom were frayed at the edges (some were grey looking compared to others) and some were stained. Next, the shower curtain had red, black and yellow mold/mildew growing at the bottom!! Eeeww!! Finally the floor made a crunchy sound when you walked on it and some areas white powder came up when you walked!! I told her to stay at the Hampton across the street next time she comes to town!!!

This Holiday Inn needs some work. The sheets were thin and pillows were floppy. The bathroom smelled like mildew and the shower curtain was torn. There was mold in the shower. The floor made a crunchy sound when you walked on it and white powder came up from around the edges. Also the carpet in the hallway was coming apart at the seams and holes were beginning to form. Somebody needs to put some money into this particular Holiday Inn and take some pride in their facility!!
