Staff was very friendly and hotel rooms were very clean

IHG, especially Crownes, have gone down in customer service over the last few years. Free breakfast is NOT standard for platinum members. Cleanliness is way down. Charging for refrigerators or microwaves in rooms for platinum members is ridiculous. For those of us who stay in hotels 150+ times a year, there are no perks to staying at IHGs
