I'm from Georgia and have had to travel to Cleveland two weekends in a row to handle the affairs of a deceased family member. I purchased an express deal via Priceline just to find a safe place to sleep before having to check out at 3:00 AM to catch a 6:00AM flight. After spending a very long day trying to plan a funeral, as well as, a myriad of other tasks, My daughter and I were exhausted - both physically and mentally. I felt reassured when I learned that the express deal that I had purchased was an Intercontinental Hotel. Because I am an IHG member and familiar with that Intercontinental in Atlanta, I knew we would rest well ascend get out in time for our flight. I couldn't have been "wronger". I checked the room and found that it was worse than the room where we already were. I shared my dissatisfaction with Priceline and the hotel manager. Priceline really tried to assist with this issue, but hotel management did not. I was only offered the option if moving to the Ambassador Suite and free breakfast. If I were on vacation, that probably would have been okay, but the only goal of this stay was to get some sleep in a safe place. Unfortunately, this goal was not achieved. My daughter and checked out at 3AM and
