With a newly renovated lake county history exhibit geared toward children and interactivity, the lake county discovery museum has morphed into a great indoor exploration and play location. Plenty of interesting historical tidbits for the parents as well makes this place well worth the drop in.

Went here for a kid play date. The learning center is the perfect size for 8-10 kids to all run off some energy or play various made-up games, along with learning about the natural outdoor environment (birds, grasses, trees, etc.) Perfect for a cold weather or rainy day!

They have been remodeling this museum for that the last couple years and the changes are good. More interactive for kids and free admission on Tuesdays.
