Days Inn Chiefland

Front desk clerk was great. Very friendly and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable, loved how the blanket was placed between tow top sheets. It felt much cleaner than a bedspread, knowing that bedspreads can't be washed as often as sheets. This is an older hotel and was previously a Holiday Inn. Housekeeping was so so. There was some leftover soap residue in the shower from the people before us and there was some white powdery substance that wasn't vacuumed behind the curtain. Our room looked mostly renovated but the shower head connection was rusty as well as the metal shower bar. Still a good stay at a reasonable price ($65 with AAA). We slept great. No road noise. Would recommend to friends but we don't usually travel in that direction.
