I only schedule with Maiya. She's been excellent with my every issue. I've worked with her for athletic massages during weight training and running. More importantly, she's been able to provide me with pain relief after two shoulder surgeries. I will continue to come so that she can help me to rehabilitate.

I had not had a massage in about 6 months and have been going through a very trying time in my life. I received a gift card for Christmas and my pain had gotten so bad that I made a same-day appointment last minute. The Edgewater location was the only local store that had space. My masseuse was AMAZING! She really understood what I needed and why. She was like a bulldog with the knots in my upper back and didn't mind that I needed to use ear plugs to help me relax and not get distracted. I mentioned the serious lower back pain I have been experiencing and used the lightest touch possible which I really appreciated (normally massage therapists listen to me say it and then apply the same pressure anyway). She gave me great follow up advice and was thoroughly knowledgeable about her craft. I don't normally give glowing remarks on surveys but this woman should DEFINITELY get a raise! :D

My sore spots are much better and that’s what I’m looking for.
