La Quinta Inn Austin Capitol

Very nice valet and nice staff overall. I didn't like the $18 vehicle charge but valet is nice to have. You should be able to choose

Surprised that this was more motel than hotel. Appears that remodeling is in progress. A little skimpy on the breakfast. Great location or the Capitol. Very friendly staff.

It was ok. Nothing to complain about

I usually love La Quinta, but I will not recommend La Quinta Capitol in Austin, Texas. Other than the location, it has little to offer. It is outdated and noisy. The bedding was clean and comfortable, but the room was not. I felt like I needed to keep my shoes on, the doors didn't close properly, the shower was very short (and I'm only 5'5" tall), the water pooled around my feet and drained slowly, I didn't feel safe leaving my room at night, and when I had to move a plug so that I could plug in my cell phone, the plug I touched was greasy and gritty. That's just gross. It was not worth the price and I got a big discount for being in a military family.

It's pretty dirty. They tried to renovate it and make it look nice but it's definitely nothing to be admired.

This place is just nasty. Smells bad. Dirty. Just gross all around. Will never stay In this location again.
