La Quinta Inn & Suites Ashland

On this visit I had a nice room and it was clean. It was a quiet stay and the shower and air conditioner worked well. No complaints. The breakfast is okay. Enough to be satisfied and able to get back on the road at a decent hour. I stayed here because my parents were paying for my stay on my trip from Portland to San Jose and they are in the loyalty program. On my way from San Jose to Portland I stayed here three weeks prior in a different room and there were many things under the beds - a shoe, Chapstick, a pill- it was dirty, and the bedspreads had dog hair all over them. It was fine otherwise, but my two year old was definitely exploring under the beds. My room this time was more modern and cleaner and the beds were raised on platforms so things couldn't get lost underneath them. Much better!
