Motel 6 Buffalo - Amherst #1298

Clean, neat, organized. The only concern is that this particular Motel had uncomfortable beds. Other than that it was a good experience.

The only reason I rated that I was dissatisfied is that this motel has a significant problem...you can smell cigarette smoke throughout the motel. I understand that this is an "economy" motel, but I've stayed in other less expensive motels that don't stink like this place! It hits you the moment you walk through the front doors. It's particularly pungent in the hallways and stairwells, I had to hold my breath!And it is in the reviews for the past couple years. And the front desk person admitted it was a problem but said the air freshener is a worse problem and also kind of insulted me by saying it's also something that tends to bother older people more! Motel 6 on maple Rd Amherst, ny, get rid of your cigarette smell!!!!!
