Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Winchester, VA

It is the halfway point of our trip South, so we stop there. They have a nice pool and hot tub, so we let the kids swim and we relax with a glass of wine. We bring our own, but they have a nice selection of wine and beer for purchase. In the morning, we have a decent breakfast (eggs, meat, yogurt bar, breads, cereals, juices, waffles, oatmeal bar) and then let the kids swim again to tire them out and burn off energy. They also allow pets for an extra fee.

I prefer CI&s over any other hotels

Excellent receptionist. Pool was open late which the kids loved. Staff was friendly. Everything was clean and a noon check out is awesome.

Nice units but if someone next to you noisy.

Went here for a half way between point to my vacation

we were down graded upon arrival without being told in advance & they wanted to charge us the same price. Or room smelled. I had to bring in my car air freshener to make it tolerable. And our room had a few flies! Never Again!!
