The hotel had all of the carpets cleaned the day of our stay. We checked into the hotel at 8:30pm and saw the signs stating that the hotel had had carpets cleaned and that when going from carpet to tile to be careful not to fall. When we arrived at our room and took off our shoes, our socks were immediately drenched. I called the front desk and asked to be moved to a room w/dry floors and was told it usually takes 4 hours for the floors to dry and no other rooms were available. Upon awakening in the morning, there were areas of the floor of our room which were still wet. I felt this was handled poorly by the management as they knew they were having the carpets cleaned and rented rooms knowing that the carpet would be wet. The attitude of the desk attendant was that our room carpet was going to be wet for our stay and there would be no resolution provided.
