Shopped at the Highland Park store for 20 years so was very familiar with Wild Birds.

Prices are high.

Often get voicemail when I call to place pickup order. Long waits for curbside pickup on weekends. I understand it's undoubtedly a staffing problem.

Pricing I believe to high

came in to buy a bag of seed. Quite efficient with no small talk. Nothing about birds sightings, Nothing about when birds will be back in the area.

There is only one register in the store. There was one person who was taking their time checking out and the line was backed up 3 to for 4 deep. The counter is very small so those of us in line had to hold our purchases which can become heavy (e.g. 40lbs of bird seed).

It’s a whole new world with so many options.

The price increase on seed blends was a shock.

I’m enthusiastic about birds but did t feel that enthusiasm mirrored by the person taking care of me.
