There was nothing special about my trip this time. Just picking up seed, so little interaction with staff. They were friendly and I was satisfied with my transaction.

I was considering renewing my membership. The nice and friendly salesperson was unfortunately unable to assist me in the decision making. I hoped that she would be able to look up my sales for the past year and see if my savings would justify the membership fee. In the end I did the math and figured that it would be worth it to renew based on my usual quarterly purchasing. You could perhaps sell more memberships if the staff could help do the math to show customers that their savings would exceed the membership fee.

Every Month, I purchase 3 no mess plus 20 lbs, and 2 roasted peanuts 20 lbs., and sometimes a few suets. On April 14, with 2 suets my bill was $254.09 (1 $10 birdbuck). On May 10th I returned for the exact same purchase with three suets and the bill was $322.24 (1 $10 Birdbuck) - $68.15 more than the previous purchase, and if I subtract one suet @ $ 4.92, the increase since my last purchase is $63.23!!! Also, there are strange items in the totals, for example "Net (Sales Tax 12%): $170.25" ?? and "Net (British Columbia 0% 0%): $131.56" ??? I was not informed that the prices have dramatically increased for the same purchase...very disappointed!
