The hummingbird feeders seem to break far too easily. The plastic is not good enough. When the rim repeatedly fall apart in the dishwasher top rack, they should be replaced free of charge. The surly nature of the staff is not good. The member's discount (paid for by ourselves) was not applied to the granules to keep the seed dry in the feeder. There is an excessive hair-splitting on what qualifies for our 15% discount. The staff member said that the drying agent is not food, though of course it is eaten byt the birds. I find lmost everyt trip to Wild Birds Unlimited unpleasant. We have bought your seed, feeders, hanging equipments, Hummingbird clarifier for many years. It should be pleasant to go to your store; it is not.

The sales person was talking to a colleague while I was making the purchase and she did not make eye contact or say thank you while handing me the receipt.

Staff were quite unfriendly. I’ve had a similar experience in the store previously with different staff. Other WBU stores, staff have always been very friendly.

I have two alphabets in my last name. Your computer system does not recognize people with extra short last names and as such I always have problems ordering things online and applying my membership discounts. Your special offers also tend to be very very short and offered usually for two to three days or so and over the weekend which also makes it hard to drop things and rush to the store to buy needed items.

I purchased a baffle and got the 20% off the original sales price. However, I had an earned bird buck that I also wanted to use and was not able to. This has never happened to me before. Why give it if I can't use it

I shopped at the Vancouver store for years and now it is more convenient for me to shop in North Van. At the North Van store I have experienced problems with grain moths - eggs and even larvae present on the outsides of the bags. I now do a lot more work now to prevent infestations - I put bags in the freezer for 3 days AFTER I vacuum the outside of the bags thoroughly. I asked about a problem with a hummingbird feeder that now leaks. I was invited to bring it in for repair, but I doubt this will be possible as it is a smaller version of the 8-oz feeder, an older design. I was told that if repair is not possible I would be offered a 20% discount on a new equivalent feeder, which was available anyway that day because of a sale. This is hardly a satisfactory interpretation of the WBU guarantee for life. I spend well over $1000 per year on seed (and have for 15 years) and being treated this way for a $40 feeder seems like very poor customer service.

I was satisfied. The question asked if I return in the next 60 days. I answered not likely because I have no need to. What I bought will do me for 3-4 months. Then I will come back to get more of what I bought.
