I have bought birdseed from WBU for over 7 years. Since covid, the quality of the seed has decreased and the price has increased. I used to buy the mix that had bark butter bits, different nuts and fruits, calcium, and seeds. The mix was great. Since covid, the seed mix has changed. Now it is (more or less) 90% sunflower seed, 8% peanuts, and 2% good stuff. And the price has increased. The birdfeeder prices are crazy expensive. I can no longer afford to shop here.

The store no longer carried the mismatched socks like they used to before Covid. That’s what I went in to buy. Ended up with some substitute gifts.

Not aware or taking part in an email from your chain. 5.00 off on any 25.00 purchase. We had to show the email because you were not aware. We made the purchase we planned on. I know your a somewhat new owner.

The friendly staff member was getting used to being back on the job. He forgot to offer my free gift when I joined the WBU club. He also forgot my seed order, but I realized it quickly, called, went back and got the seed order. My next curbside pick up went without a hitch. I love the curbside service during this time of pandemic.

I called about items for which I had received a notification in the mail. The item(s) were available. I purchased them over the phone on 1/24 as well as renewed my VIP status. The store employee assured me the items purchased would be ready for me to pick up whenever I was able to come by the store. It was the following Monday, 1/28 that I was able to get there to pick up my order. The items I purchased were not there and there were no more of the bark butter feeders with the green roof which I requested. The employee was very nice but I am frustrated that my items were not there. I ordered and paid for the hot sauce bark butter and was supposed to receive the green roof bark butter feeder (now sold out at the time I arrived).

The price of Sunfire Hot Pepper chips increased by $10.00 from the last time I purchased the same product at the same store. I called the store and got, in my opinion, the run around on why the price increased by $10.00. The price increase was nearly 30% which is un-called for. I will be looking at different bird food stores to spend my money and not be ripped off by a greedy merchant.

I placed my online order Saturday 2/27. I have received zero communication this week re: anticipated ship date. Also, despite having an online presence, there is no email with which to communicate?

I was mortified to hear that a gift card I had purchased for a friend was never loaded with the requested amount, so when my friend came to shop with it, she was told it was invalid. How embarrassing that I had to call her back and tell her it was fixed. Mind you, if the store had not called me to own their mistake, my friend would never have mentioned it to me. Cudos to the store for owning their mistake, but they nearly lost two customers! And I know she was embarrassed at the register when she tried to buy her gift. Mortified!
