Always a joy to shop and talk about birds in our area

After I placed my online order, I expected my delivery in a week or so. The order arrived with 48 hours! And a bag of the peanut butter balls was thrown in--which I appreciated so much. The delivery person was friendly, polite and so kind.

Talked to the store owner who called to let me know he had been able to complete transfer of my membership. He was very helpful. I also told him that Emma had been very knowledgable and helpful when helping me in the store. It has been years since I've encountered non-owner staff who were so good. Our local store owner retired and sold his store and the staff we had been dealing with for years were soon gone as well. Customer service and sales knowledge declined dramatically and we stopped going. Now that location sells only 5 lb bags, which is more costly, produces more plastic waste and is less convenient for anyone with a large feeder or several feeders. We have both. When looking for a feeder accessory, i called the store in Katy and learned it was owned by a neighbor. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It hurt when he closed his store so suddenly. We can deal with shopping at Kingwood for now, but if you lose this location, we are going to have to revisit how we are feeding the birds.

I love this store and the people who work there.
