Hand and Stone

My appointment was with April. She was very skilled, knowledgeable and took the time to recommend treatments that would be beneficial to my skin.

I liked the friendliness of the massage therapist. I did want a swedish massage and instead my massage was more about muscle group work so it was more intense than relaxing. However I cannot complain because it really helped me. But next time i would like to know what each massage type is like so I can specify ahead of time

Hand n Stone is a great place to come to relax and be pampered. The massage therapists take great care of meeting my massage needs (especially my back). I like coming to get my massages

I really like Adelaide! I feel she's attentive, friendly, very good at what she does, and informative. I hope to keep coming to her for facial services.

The only downside was the impersonal receptionist who seemed more interested in her cellphone than welcoming and interacting with the client. This has become all too familiar with Millennials and Digital Natives. Their interpersonal skills are sorely lacking.

I was so impressed by the Hand & Stone I went to - in previous years, I went to a different spa chain in Pittsburgh and left always feeling like it wasn't a true *spa* experience, whereas the Hand & Stone in East Liberty (East End/Pittsburgh) gave me all the luxury of one of those super spendy, luxury spas --without breaking my bank! Thank you to the team for making me feel welcome, respecting my boundaries, and being all-around rockstars!

It was a very efficient, uncomplicated experience with a capable and professional therapist. No high pressure sales tactics for products and services just exactly the service requested. Very pleased.
