The massage itself was wonderful. The personality of the therapist, not so much. She gave a great massage but not the greatest bedside manner. Please keep this confidential

I arrived 10 minutes early and waited until 15 minutes passed my appointment to be brought back to the room. My therapist seemed very rushed and stressed getting me into the room. We didn’t begin the massage until 20 minutes passed my appointment time and then when the massage was finished it was 5 minutes passed the end of my actual appointment time. The therapist did great on my target point and rushed on everything else to the point where I think she did my arms for a total of 30 seconds. She was great though just super rushed and it was never acknowledged which was odd

The fact that the massages are 80 minutes and not 90 For a premium price.

I would prefer softer sheets. My previous massage spa that closed used very soft bamboo sheets. Also, the music was a bit loud in the massage room.

The only thing I would recommend is the massage therapist wear a mask while doing massages or any kind of close contact work. I loved my massage and the therapist. At some points I could feel her breath right over me during the massage. I must say before I go further her breath was clean no issues at all. This is strictly in light of what we are experiencing as a nation right now. Oh I would also pre screen and face to face screen your customers going forward. Ask prior-fevers ,sickness, out of country time frames. I would re ask and take temp prior to massage. They are doing some I like this at my dad's nursing home prior to accessing patients rooms. Please please know my massage was absolutely wonderful!!!!!

For the past several waxing appointments since I have moved to Pittsburgh, hairs have been missed. This is not unique to Hand & Stone (this was my first visit there for waxing). I am not sure what the issue is, but after each waxing, I have had to pluck stray hairs, which is a bit frustrating.

I used to go see Tina who was thoughtful, calming, and fantastic. She no longer appears to be working at the Hand & Stone in east liberty. I had Corinne this time who was generally nice but not as soothing. Tina would offer to put a towel over my eyes when I was on my back which was really appreciated. I also got a Himalayan salt massage and used 2 of my packages for it which did not seem to be worth it.
