I was disappointed in the upcharge for the extractions I received. I have had many facials in various states and spas and not upcharged for this service.

I love my experience at Hand and Stone. The front staff is professional and my therapist is amazing and effective at reducing my muscle knots and generalized anxiety. However, I cannot get an appointment for more than 2 months out due to them only having 3 therapists now. I am sad that I may need to cancel, but since my work schedule changes every month and the next closest location is 25 min away (vs. 4 min), I may not be able to keep my membership.

I was asked about additional services (some type of peel and one other thing) which I agreed to without thinking to ask about cost. Much to my surprise, my total for a one hour facial was $215 not including the tip. I thought that was a lot of money for the service I received.

I get fatigued by the repetitiveness of completing the same forms pre-arrival and upon-arrival every time when I walk in twice a month for months/years. I know there is an attention button. Why do this unless there is a change?

1) the massage room was very warm and stuffy. AC not working properly. Therapist had reported it the week before but nothing was done. I had to make a firm request to change to another room 2) 6 months ago I purchased a gift certificate for 1hr facial for $70. When I asked to book it, I was told I would owe an additional $50 because the value was $110. I felt like I was intentionally being ripped off. Finally, after several minutes of discussion and my insistence, the receptionist told me she would rebook it under a different code.

I get massages because I need them it is almost impossible to get booked in a regular time. If that was possible I would book 2 or 3 a month

I tried to call in advance with a few questions but no one ever picked up. It ended up working out, but this would be so helpful to have a responsive front desk via phone. I've had this happen before, and frankly, it's a big part of why I am not a member. Their service is great, but the Google reviews stating how difficult it is to reach them if you want to cancel the membership makes it an unwise choice to join.

I appreciated my facialist telling me upgrades that ranged from $130 to only $30 so that I had a range of options. I liked how she asked me about my skin and made customized suggestions.

My aesthetician was very nice. I told her at the beginning of my service that my skin was quite sensitive. She still recommended some add on treatments. I wasn’t planning to have one, but I felt somewhat pressured to do so. My skin was swollen & red the next day. The day after that my eyes swelled. It is now several days later, and the swelling is down. Put my skin has a very rough texture and feels like it is going to peel. I believe that some of the products burned my face. I just can’t do that again.
