Sheraton Columbia Downtown Hotel

Good location

Loved the roof top bar and the decor of the rooms. The close proximity to restaurants and attractions is a plus too.

The room was not clean and their were a few issues with the dining. However the front desk staff were very gracious in addressing any issues. Valet parking staff were very fast and friendly. Waitresses in the restaurant were not friendly and the restaurant was out of several items. Enough issues with my stay that I would stay elsewhere next trip.

The hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. We were looking forward to staying downtown and enjoyable big Columbia with our 3 year old son. However, We called down to guest services to find out what time breakfast was served until specifically for the club floor. The woman was unsure, but "checked" and told us 10:30am. Turns out she was wrong at it is until 9:30am, and we kissed the breakfast we wanted in the club lounge and ended up at the very on site restaurant. Thankfully, We spoke with Amanda at the front desk and she appropriately took care of the problem. The hotel staff is friendly and courteous, but t the restaurant staff is a little curt. We mill most likely not be staying here again.

We were just stopping in for a meeting and a Starbucks coffee but the Starbucks was closed for some reason so we went somewhere else
