Big O Tires

I came to the store on a Monday without an appointment, for an oil change and tire rotation, allowing 90 minutes of time. I was told they couldn't guaranty they would finish in that time because the service requires 60 minutes. I made a 9:00 appointment for Wednesday. When I showed up at 9:00 I was told my appointment was at 8:00 and it would take 2 hours to get complete the job. At 10:30 they finally started the job and finished in 40 minutes. I felt like I got the run around and will not return.

Good service. Removed 4 locking lug nuts after we had lost the only key.

Charged way more than i should have been by comparing prices from other stores but it was convenient to get the work done there because i was working there that day

I had a blow-out on the highway (680) and managed to pull off the road. Luckily, Big O was nearby and I was able to limp in even with the blown tire. The person that I dealt with was very helpful, and they got me back on the road in about an hour (even though I didn't have an appointment etc...). They replaced a second tire that was looking close to worn out and I made it to my destination several hours away. Very grateful that they were there and willing to help me in that situation.

The person who worked on my car did not close the hood all the way. Of course, the warning system did not tell me this until I was in the fast lane on a very busy freeway. That was scary! Also, my service reminder did not get reset and I still have the message that I am overdue for service.

Have been taking my vehicles to this Big O station for sever al years now. Prompt and professional.

So I had no issues with my car prior to bringing it in for an oil change, tire rotation, and inspection. The report that came back included an estimate for work that needed to be done, great. The next day my low tire pressure indicator came on while headed to work. My thought was, I just had this serviced and if this light is on I must have a puncture, this needs to be addressed immediately. Come to find that the air pressure in ALL the tires was low and had not been inflated to the numbers that read on the report. What else is on this report that wasn't done?!? Are you in the business of checking boxes?? I have used other Big O locations in the past and they were fine. I won't be coming back here for the $1500 in service in the estimate. I won't be back for even an oil change. Very untrustworthy mechanics just checking boxes and not properly servicing cars. If you are going to include the rotation and inflation then you need to meet the expectation.

I was always changing oil at another big o location (Danville). I decided to try your location as it close to my work place. I used groupon. It appeared that your groupon has different conditions than other big o stores groupon - you assess disposal fee and taxes, while other locations groupon has everything included. It is extra $7+. Also customer service person when I asked to check pricing for new tires (for another car) gave me pricing only for what you had in stock. Then I checked online on my phone (while in shop) and found better deals. I asked about them , and I was told that those tires need to be ordered. I did not have immediate need to replace tires because they need to be replaced on another car. So , I am not sure why I was not provided better options for my request. Also you have a poster about $250 rebate on goodyear tires when you use big o credit card. When I was provided with estimate on goodyear tires, I asked about this discount, but representative told me that only discount I can get is $100 off on set of big o brand tires. So, I do not think that employee is knowledgeable, and I do not thing she was thinking taking customer best interests in account. However, she was polite and nice.

Disappointed when I found out that your stores do not communicate with each other.I go to the store in one city and when I go to another stores, they don't have my info.Service was not good, my car was not ready when I was told it would be.

Able to place new tires, check alignment and fix alignment in two hours as promised

The lobby smelled like tires. The smell was overwhelming and noxious to sit in while my car was being taken care of.

Bought a new interstate battery for my 2004 Honda CR-V The car was home ,not with me at the time of purchase #1 battery was dead when I put it in the car that evening #2 electrolyte level was low on all cells #3 digital analyzer showed battery at 50% Battery took a charge after filling electrolyte to proper level ( ultra pure distilled water) Battery will start the car reliably , but seems kinda heartless when doing it. Taking the car to Big O for condition/load test on Monday
