Big O Tires

I just came in for an oil change that I had called in before to check availability. Angel said no problem. It took over 1.5 hrs. Also I had asked them if they rotate the tires. They said yes. But later after my drive I stopped to check tire pressure and it was low on EVERY tire.

I have used them twice now and was very pleased both times. Everyone that works there is kind courteous and so helpful. It gives this senior citizen such peace of mind to have found a place I can take my vehicle and not worry. I recommend you to all friends.

Broke tire lift under truck,mgr did not offer to repair or ask me what was the problem, When i came the shop it was working fine,so now i cant putt tire back under truck,

Diagnosed the problem in a timely fashion, completed the services within a reasonable time period, especially considering it's the holidays. Staff were professional and didn't try to up-sell services.

I came in to get the check engine light and the VSC light taken care of. It turned out to be a 3 1/2 hour wait. The check engine light was taken care of, but the VSC would go off and come back on repeatedly. The VSC light is now on continuously. Because of the long wait time to get it fixed, I have made an appointment for Sept. 11. I have been assured that driving with the light on will not cause any damage to the engine. I hope that is true.

I purchased my tires at the Big O store in Pinole. I had already stopped there earlier in the day, as I had a tire light. The technician checked the air pressure and added or decreased the pressure as needed. The tire light went off, and I drove to Pleasant Hill. Upon completing my errands, I had another tire light, and was concerned that I might not make it home safely. I saw the Big O store, took a chance, and stopped in. I was greeted courteously, my car was looked at promptly, the nail removed and the tire repaired, and I was on my way in about an hour. I was thrilled! I knew my tire would get me safely home, and I had quite a short wait. I would definitely recommend this store to others.

Salesperson tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I did not need, to include replacing a tire that had little wear on it and had only 20k miles.

Customer service was great and they took care of what I needed

well, I bought a tire and after 6 months, 2 nails were found in the tire. I was charged full price to replace the tire. I have bought tires at that facility for all my cars for many years. The tires should last at least 9 months.....

The slow leak in my new tire which I had purchased at your store was quickly diagnosed and repaired. Staff was friendly, competent and got the job done. Thanks!

I found the invoice to be extremely confusing to understand -- what aspects counted as "Parts", "Labor", etc. and what items were subject to tax and at what tax rate? The additional charges for mounting and balancing seem high, and especially the nitrogen fill (isn't there a choice about that? Was never asked and certainly don't know why I need it). Don't know what the "repair kit" is or where to find it. All this in addition to failing to give credit for my Groupon payment until I asked about it.

Have brought my car to big O for a decade now. Being a picky consumer, that actually says everthing. Trusting the service and reco's made.

After spending over $2,600 and having my car in the shop for over a week, the original problem remains. Hard to see how the original diagnosis wasn't a guess or made up.

The completion time was exactly what was quoted.

I purchased Full Synthetic Oil Change service through Groupon. It was easy to make a appointment. Before I dropped my car, I asked Angel Ayala if there is any extra charge. Angel told me no extra charges. The Groupon includes all charges. However, when I picked up my car, Angel asked me to pay $7.73 disposal fee. This does not sounds right to me!!!

Could not correct tpms issue after having tires installed Returned 2 times and light continued to come on Had to take truck to Toyota to correct problem at a cost of $161.00 Not to happy with Big O as I paid almost 1300. For tires then to pay the extra 161. To correct a problem caused by broken tpms when tires were installed. Your store did not install tires and your personnel was great to work with but the result wasn't good.Tires were installed in Sonora store

I've trusted my vehicle maintenance to Brian and his team for years! They always provide the highest standard of customer service. I even asked Brian to turn off the radio in the waiting area while I took a work call - and he happily complied. Thank you so much!

Had a very unprofessional experience at the Pleasant Hill location. The Lafayette shop is my home store and they set the tone for Big O customer service, Pleasant Hill fell far below the line. I was told my service would only take 30 minutes, an hour later I had to go up to the front desk myself to ask if my car was done. I came to find that it had been sitting outside, illegally parked, for almost 15 minutes yet no one told me it was ready. That being said I was not too happy and to top it all off when I got in my car there were grease marks from dirty hands all over my steering wheel, seats and screen. I won't be returning to this Big O Tires!
