I drive about 2,500 miles per month. Due to an unchecked alignment issue I very quickly burned up a pair of front tires a while back so, this time, I purchased the "Unlimited Alignment" (your term, not mine...) package last Sept. I got a new car in March. I called and asked if I could transfer the alignment package to the new car and was told yes. I walked in (5/27) to transfer it. I was told, in a most snarky manner, the following: "It's NOT unlimited" and then "Why do you have it? Do you keep driving into things?" and then your fine representative finished off with: "It's not transferable." I've had some very good and some very dicey experiences here but we've mostly worked them out. However, the degree of sheer snark makes me very nervous about going back.

I have an older vehicle and parts are not readily available. Big O went out of their way to source the necessary parts in a timely fashion and made the repairs. I couldn't ask for anything more. Service was friendly and pricing was fair. They have earned my business.

THIS IS A TEST TO SEE IF YOU READ THESE REVIEWS! I arrived at 11 am aas planned. I was told it would be 2 hours. The car was ready 4.5 hours later. WHile driving home the car was still pulling to the left. WHY? HOW DO I FIX THIS? John Ledahl 925-989-4994

I had my tire pressure light on and had been told that it was probably due to a defective sensor. They ordered the sensor for me and when I took it back to get the service done, they verified my tires were ok and they were able to get the sensor light to turn off. They were very honest and said the new sensor was not needed.I was very impressed with their honesty.I have been going to this Big O Tires for years and will continue to do so!

I have been going there for 25 years, bought many sets of tires. I called about a slow leak, was told to bring it down, business was slow, they could take care of it in 1-1 1/2 hours. I was there in 15 minutes, went out for a leisurely lunch, came back in 2 1/4 hours and the vehicle hadn't been touched. When I complained I was met with a unconcerned shrug, "don't know who you talked to, man". I left with the tire not repaired. So much for going there anymore.

I had a nail in one of my rear tires plus needed a rotation. All taken care of no charge and quickly as I had purchased my tires at Big O. Thanks!

I came in to get new tires and got a call a few hours later that they had found a leak and needed to replace some parts totaling ~$2k. It was explained that if I did not complete the repair that the engine could shut down. I approved the repair and was able to pick up the vehicle at the end of the day. On my way to work the next day, the coolant light came on so I called and spoke w the shop and they said there was likely air in the hoses and it just needed topped off. I explained that I work in Cupertino but would top it off and swing by to have it looked at on the way home. On the way home, the car started to smoke and the engine started to rev and "bog". I pulled over and called and the shop recommended I have it towed in. At my expense and time, I had it towed in only to find that a new issue had been induced (cracked coolant reservoir) and they needed to order a part. Keep in mind, I dropped the car off the eve prior and had to call myself to get this news after 4pm the next day. They said the part would not be in until tomorrow. I'm now on day 2 of what would be 3 days without my car that was running just fine prior to coming in for new tires. Finally, the next day, I followed up at noon - no part but they believed it would come in today. I followed up again at 5 and they said it was complete. I'm not confident that there wasn't greater damage done. I still don't know exactly what was done to resolve it as I did not see any sort of write up or invoice upon pickup. What could've gone better? -Fix it right the first time and do not induce other issues -Accountability - I cared for my own tow and transportation after being stranded otw back from Cupertino -Did Big O really make it right? Well, they didn't charge me anything for the reservoir that wasn't cracked when I dropped it off initially but I still got hit with a $3k bill and was without my car for 3 days I'd say it was a pretty awful experience. There were some nice people (Ted) helping me but it doesn't change the course of events.

Excellent customer service - friendly and most willing to help. Somehow I got a nail in the sidewall in one of my tires. Being it is a new car with less than 4,500 miles, I wanted the exact same tire to replace the damaged one. Eddie found it and my replaced my damaged tire in one day.

I dropped my car off for a headlight replacement but later was advised that the ballast also needed to be replaced, which was understandable. The part was not available until the next day. I dropped my car off the next day and at the end of the day I came to pick up the car. After paying I went out to the car and the immediately noticed that the headlight was still not working. I advised the associate and he apologized and immediately had someone work on resolving the issue. I had to wait another 45 minutes to an hour and then the problem was fixed. The next morning while driving to work I heard a loud noise coming from the headlight area. I turned around halfway to work and brought the car in for evaluation. They said that a piece of plastic was shaken loose during the repair process, causing the noise as it rattled around, and they fixed the problem. The customer service guys were helpful and nice but it sure seems like the technicians were not up to par.

Great service. Good follow-up and communication. Work was done well. Dealing with Tesla is a painful experience and Eddie did a great job getting the parts we needed from them. Gave me back my car while we waited for the long lead time items so I wasn't left without it unnecessarily.

I had an appointment, but then had to wait for 3 1/2 hours for them to install 4 tires and do an alignment. The service technician was nice. He told me when I checked in that my car would be ready in about 2 hours. He did not offer me a shuttle ride. I complained about the long wait, and he discounted my alignment. If I had known it would be such a long wait, I would have gone somewhere else. Now I'm concerned that every time I go back to have my tires rotated, I will have to wait a long time.

I really like this store. The guys are friendly and very efficient. They take care of all the calls to verify the fleet car info even when I don't have the card. They get the work done quick and they follow up.

They patched a tire for me. When I went back to get my car there was a lug nut in my cup holder. I got out to say they left it but they said it was mine and to keep it in the glove. They didn't put it where they got it. They left the rug and back of the car undone. They also did it check the tire pressure on the other tires. I specifically went back to say they needed to correct the very disparate pressure in the tires and they told me my gauge would reset when I drove it and that they had done it already. They hadn't. The details were lacking.

Great oil change and tire rotation. While I was delayed as a result of a parts failure, staff did a great job explaining the "why" and got me out the door within a reasonable time frame

Have been buying tires that this Big O for 15 years but have noticed changes lately. On this trip we asked to check 2 of our tires as they seem to have slow leaks. They did a good job selling us a front end alignment policy and oil change, however the following morning we packed the van for a very long drive only to find the tires low on pressure. Apparently when we returned it was determined the tires were never checked. This happen shorty after I took my car to the same store to have my alignment checked and tires balanced. I was told the tires were worn and no need for alignment or balance but they tried to sell me new tires. This did not look necessary and I went to a competitor. They said the tires had lots of life and suggested I come back in the fall. I'm sorry to say that it seems that management wants to sell more stuff than keeping good long term customers.

I have been going to Big O for our cars tune ups and expanded to general service. I'm very happy with the service. They remember my name, remember my car and what we did last. Very flexible. Strongly recommend. Special shout out to Angelo!

Tires were not rotated. I know this because I lost the cap on the driver front side and that tire is still on the driver front.

Justin, our service rep, was outstanding! I brought in my car for a service (instead of going to the dealer), knowing it needed 2 tires also - but I didn't tell anyone about that! Justin called with a quote, explained everything, and even used coupons I wasn't aware of... totally satisfied!

I came it to have wipers changed and Mike said he could change my headlight. When I picked up my car and go home saw that it was a totally different, lower quality light. I went back to Mike today and he wasn't willing to help me much and said he would call me. Told him I wanted the correct light or my money back...no response, just bs.
