I have had my truck serviced at this location for years. I came in for service and i also had a screw in my right front tire. The man told me they couldn't patch it because the screw was to close to the sidewall. Thats fine i get that but i ask if while they were changing my oil if he could have the mechanic put my spare on the truck. He said ok i then ask if he would put the spare on the rear and move my regular tire to the front. He then went into the shop and i assumed he was going to tell them to do what i ask. When the truck was done the spare was on the front he didnt tell them to put the spare on the back as i asked. I had Big O Bigfoot mud and snows on my truck i ask him how much it would cost to replace the tire he said"oh its a bigfoot I'd have to check the size and walked off he never checked or gave me a place and lost my sale. I also ask if they checked my fluids he said yes. When the truck was ready i started it and my dash light telling me to check washer fluid. I was late for an appointment so i couldn't stay but when i got home i checked my transmission fluid and it was low so i paid for this service 44.00 and had to purchase oil and washer fluid. Now im wondering if they did anything except put my spare on the correct wheel. The man at the counter was useless before the service has been wonderful but after this experience i wont be back

The guy was extremely nice. He turned the screen so I could see what he was putting in and how much it cost upfront. Loved the transparency because there is a stigma around women getting different pricing at auto shops because of the lack of knowledge.

Very unorganized. Was told service would take 2 hours and that I would receive a call when it was ready. 5 hours later and still no call. I show up and my truck is parked in the street, in a red zone, facing the wrong way. Greasy fingerprints were left on my door, inside the door jamb, on the running boards, hood and bumper.

Let me start by saying I dont usually write reviews but i had to his time. I bought new tires for both my cars in may. Well I went in for an oil change for my car and to see about a tire rotation. They did the oil change but when I asked about the tire rotation I was told that they don't do tire rotations unless the tires are worn and mine looked ok. Unless things have changed I thought you did tire rotation to prevent wearing. When the tires were put on the truck the front tire went low over nite and took it back and they said didn't know what happened and put more air in. Next day went to vacaville and on the freeway another car signaled the front tire was low. Had to stopped every exit on the way back to keep air in the tire but we made it back and took it back in again and all we got was a I'm sorry. The stem was leaking. Something that should have been taken care of when the tires were first put on. But to my oil change yesterday I got back in my vehicle there was grease all over the floor mat and on the door where the footprints were when they open the door a greasy footprint. After the last couple visits with Big O Tires I will not use this location again or recommended to my friends

It was a pretty frustrating experience for my first visit to the shop, to be honest. I came to the location because it was listed on a Groupon deal for an oil change. I was then told that while the location is listed there, it's "just so people can see the store hours, but [we] don't actually participate in the deal." I was happy when the customer service rep mentioned that they'd be able to match the pricing, however. I arrived around 9:00am and once I handed over my keys to get the oil change done, I was told it would be about 45 minutes. I don't live nearby so I walked around a bit and grabbed a cup of coffee. When I got back to the shop around 50 minutes or so later, my car hadn't moved and I was told it would be about another hour before anyone would be able to get to it. When I came back a second time around an hour later, my car was moved but I wasn't given any updates as to its status. It wasn't ready for another two hours (four hours after I initially dropped it off) because they were waiting on an oil filter from AutoZone (I drive a regular Toyota Camry, no special filter necessary). Lastly, when I was finally paying, the gentleman who was handling my paperwork mentioned that you all get at least one person per day who tries to use the Groupon. I would imagine if it was happening that frequently you would either tell Groupon to remove your location from the list or actually participate in the deal. All in all, four hours for an oil change when I was told 45 minutes seems absurd. It took half of my day off to make it happen. If I had been told from the start that they needed to order a filter and that it wouldn't arrive for about 3.5 hours, I could've easily jumped in an Uber home and not feel like I wasted the better part of my day.

I was told about the solution to my issue about my car. I agreed to their suggestions and have my car checked and inspected and they said they found the problem and I agreed to have it fixed! I came Friday and I drove my car the problem is still there and I am working the following day so I cannot bring the car back. I want it fixed the way they promise me!

Derek was very good and thorough and help solve the problem. once they knew that I was on a schedule then they got it done as quickly as possible.

I have brought my cars here for the last 10 years. I was told that there was new ownership when I dropped my car off because I was inquiring about Hal. I was told that the old owners were very shady...I thought this was unprofessional first of all. When I went to pick up my car I had a groupon that I had purchased for a $100 gift certificate which had the specific stores address on it. The gentleman told me that I could not use it and that new owner had not taken this off groupon was the reason. He said that they would not get credit for it...at this point after working a long day I took $50 off after having to argue with the person in charge. On Saturday I drove my car which was supposedly fixed to SF and it started to display same problems...was not fixed...had to get towed back. I will bring my car in Monday morning to complain and hopefully get this taken care of. I work for a grocery store and see thousands of patrons from elk grove each day. I will be taking my business elsewhere after this as I am disappointed at the new people that work here. Hopefully the owner sees this and reaches out.

We you walk in the store the greet you immediately. Your staff is very friendly and helpful. They always honest and up front. They let’s you know what you looking at for pricing and try their best to get you what you need. I definitely appreciate them at the location.

After I told the service tech that there was a problem with my front right tire he told me it was the weather. Turns out there was a nail in my tire. Had to go back and be an hour late for work and he still did not do the rotation.

I didn't like how I had an appointment scheduled for 9:30am and was told over the phone that it would take an hour and half to get my brakes done, when in reality my car wasn't done until 2:30pm and I missed an appointment for something. The problem turned out to be that they need to go pickup parts from another store because my car model has 4 different brake types, but moving forward this should be something that is asked when someone is booking their appointment, so the store can get the necessary parts ahead of time and not waste the customers time.

This store is very unprofessional and un scurpulous they do not tell the truth. We purchased Radar Dimax AS-8 tires from BigO tires, which have a 60000 mile warranty and at 15000 miles. My husband noticed the tires seemed to have some wear on inside of tire. So we took to Les Schwab for front end alignment which Les Schwab found that the front end was not out of alignment and that the tires were defective and separating. Les Schwab brought to our attention how bad the tires were, they were actually separating compromising the integrity of the inner side wall making them weak causing them to bubble out and were ready to blow out at anytime. Even the first guy that looked at tires at BigO said he had never seen anything like it before, but DEREK at this BigO would not admit the tires were defective, which means BigO tires is not reporting defective tire to the manufacturer for further resesrch on whether there should be a recall on these tires. Derek has no concern about anyone's safety and whether there is a potential of a very serious accident endangering people's life due to defective tires. Consumer beware they do not care about your safety at BigO tires. We left went to American tire store and they as well said tires were defective. AGAIN CONSUMER BEWARE BIGO TIRES DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY.
