When I brought my car in for an oil-change on Monday July 9 I was told that the store only takes appointments, I asked how long this policy had been in effect as I had had my oil changed in April as a walk in and I was told it had been effect since April 2018! This is something I would certainly remember, they were a little snooty about it and said, "we'll try to get your car done!"�I've been taking my car to this location for over 10 years and have had various things done. Yes, they got me in but there was no "oh you're a loyal returning customer attitude"� no good neighbor policy. Yes, I'll go back I will just make an appointment, I am disappointed in the level of customer care!

I've had my tires done several times, and just had my brakes done and an oil change. I am VERY HAPPY!!!

I was not greeted when I entered the store and actually waited about 5 minutes before anyone even looked up. Three people on computers, no other customers in the shop. I did not say anything to announce my arrival, I was waiting to see how long it would take. Was irritated by the time someone waited on me. Work on vehicle was satisfactory, as always.

I have been a Big O customer since 1971 when I had a flat in my driveway with no spare, I called the nearest tire co (Big O) and Bill Millar came to my home, took the tire & fixed it and came back & remounted it on the car. I have had your company do all of my tire, brake & related work ever since. The shop I have used for the last ten years or so is at 5701 Folsom Blvd. I am there once a month for an oil change and rotation, I can count on the professional care I receive every time.

Leslie is the best! I dropped off my car early and she called me! I didn't have to call at 8 a.m., wait because no one had even looked at my paperwork that was dropped off hours before, and when you ask her questions, she's knowledgeable and she answers them. When I called to ask specific prices for each item for more work that needs to be done, (because the prices were not on the paperwork for some reason,) the white haired guy wouldn't even do that, he just gave me the total. That's frustrating, esp after I had to wait 5 minutes for him to get out of whatever he was doing to begin with. Kudos to Leslie! Thank goodness she's there, I wouldn't be as happy with this store if she wasn't there. P.S.......those 5's up above are because of Leslie, and the work that was done on my car.

Had an appointment for oil change and tire rotation somehow they talked me into another repair for $850. This happens everytime I go there being a single woman. Independent mechanics from now on that are not working for commission. I ended up leaving before the $850 preventive maintenance was preformed on my vehicle due to the all day wait. So happy I did, while waiting and watching in the office the sales representatives were high pressurizing most customers that came in for minor procedures

I am a regular customer and returned to the shop because the rotors on my Lexus were warped after just one year of only city driving. When I asked why they were warped so quickly, I was told that the part must have been faulty. The exact same thing happened on another vehicle that I recently brought in for brake work - the brakes deteriorated very quickly. I was told at that time that the rotors that were installed were too small. Those rotors were installed at this same Big O shop. So this time, when told that the rotors they installed last year must have been faulty, I asked the service advisor to give me a reason that I shouldn't just take the car to another shop, especially if the parts that Big O is using are of questionable quality or if they have installed incorrect parts in the past. He said they could install better quality rotors this time. Of course, I was charged an additional $100 for those parts. There was no attempt in either case to credit me back anything for these situations. Something just isn't right.

Excellent Service: When I came in with low air pressure in one tire they checked it immediately and gave me the diagnosis. When the tire I needed wasn't at the location, the man I was working with agreed to stop and pick it up on his way home, he brought it in the next morning and my car was ready by 8:30a.m. This Folsom Blvd location has always been super accommodating, helpful, kind and honest. I am a repeat customer for life.

I took the time to set up an online appointment. When I got to the location on my appointment date and time I had to re-answer the questions I already submitted online, and they informed me they no longer had my tire in stock. So what is the point of doing anything online? My online estimate was also 100's of dollars less than what I paid when I walked out. Overall, the actual work to my vehicle seems fine, but the rest of the experience will be the reason I take my business elsewhere next time.

The condition of the store's interior leaves a lot to be desired - roof water leak bubbles in the ceiling and a large spot held together with duct tape looks terrible, for one. However, if clean, it would be really cool with unique furniture and several desk stations. The service I received was phenomenal and I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and diligence in trying to resolve my vehicle's issue. They went above and beyond although, ultimately, they weren't able to fix the problem and had to refer me to the dealership for repairs.

I took my car in for squeeky brakes. After the brake inspection, they said my brakes were fine with plenty of material left on them. However, I was told the passenger side hub assembly needed to be replaced and the drivers side still had play in it, but wasnt as bad as the passenger side. I opted to only have the passenger side done and wait on the driver side, since I wasnt sure if this was a good price. The vehicle was out on a test drive when I arrived to pick it up. When I payed for it , I was given an estimate for the other hub and the rack/.pinion. After driving it home, my brakes began to squeel again. Its been a week now and they continue to get worse. I live 2 hrs away from the store I had the work done. I hesitant to return and have them address the brakes because they misdiagnosed them in the first place.

When I arrived I was asking for a tire rotation/balance since my car was shaking at highway speeds. I also asked for an alignment check to see if my car needed an alignment in case the tire balance didn't solve the problem. The lady who helped me at first was nice, but left during the time I was waiting for my car to be done. I waited outside and was talking to the technician who was working on my car. He showed me that one of my axle seals were leaking. I declined doing the repairs at that time because I've had them leak before and the last time I did the repairs at home myself. He was super friendly throughout the process and was nice to talk to while waiting for my repairs to be done. When I went to check out, the guy ringing me up basically called my name out, told me what I owed, took payment, and said have a good day. I asked him about the rear axles seals and what the cost would be if they fixed it since I wasn't sure if I wanted to do them myself again or not, and go just says oh, umm, well I'll just guess and say like $400 if you're doing both. I asked if he could confirm the price and he said yeah, like $400. Okay, well it would have been nice to have something in writing or an actual cost. I work in a body shop and I know that parts and labor on different cars can vary for the same job so I would have felt more confident about the price if he hadn't just guessed. Then he said have a good day again and assumed the conversation was over. I asked, well what about the alignment check? Does it need one, what did you find out? Again, it was another oh, ummm, let me look here, well yeah we didn't do the alignment check did you want one? It says specifically on your work order for an alignment check, why wouldn't I want one if that's what I asked for? At that point I was irritated with him and said no and left. I probably would have considered having my axle seals done there but not after the unenthusiastic and slightly rude customer service from the office staff. I'm thankful I was outside talking with the tech, because I feel like if it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't have even been told from the guy who rang me up that my axle seals were bad.

I went last week to enter the store with no greeting. I waited ten minutes for someone to even help me even though no one else was in the location. I was also charged two extra fees when i came to pick up my car an hour later then they promised. Keep it up guys!

I bought 4 new tires on 11/10/2015. The customer service I recieved was overall great, the store was clean and the turn around time was relativly fast. I am satisfied with the product I recieved (referring to the actual tires) BUT there is a major issue. ITEMS WERE TAKEN FROM MY VEHICLE. Its not about what was taken but more about the principal. For this is why I WILL NOT recommend any services from this location. Expect a call.

They did not rotate my tires I purchased 1 new tire and they put it in front???? When I asked upon pickup the guy said it would've fine
