I came in to have a tire repair, nail in tread. I had the service person, Nathan come out to verify they could fix it. Nail was close to the edge of the tire. He said yes, they could fix it. I took a seat out in front of the shop to wait. I saw the technician get in my car and drive it into the bay, Car/tire was fine, it did not show any signs of having a flat tire. Note, it had 34 lbs air pressure when I arrived. The tires have 5000 miles on them. 10 minutes later Nathan and the technician came out front with the then flat tiire and wheel to tell me there was a problem. On the inside edge of the tire on the opposite side of the tire, about 1/3 of the way around from where the nail was an inch and 1/2 tear/gash in my tire. Nathan said this was from the road hazard and the tech said the tire was flat when he drove it into the bay. As I said above, I saw him drive it in and there was no evidence the tire was flat. I challenged both Nathan and the Tech regarding what the Tech had done, the tech said nothing but smiled, Nathan argued that the nail had cause the failure. I have attached photos of the tire I allow Nathan to order a new tire which had to be shipped overnight. I was quoted a price for the new tire of $255, matching an on line retailer, and Nathan said the Big O price was $270 but he would discount it When I got home I logged into the Big O web site and saw the same tire listed for $220. More issues..... I kept the old tire and have shown it to another tire technician, the manger of a automotive service department and an independent Porsche shop. All believe the tire was pierced when the Big O tire tech put the tire on the mounting machine to remove it from the rim. I should have had my car towed to another shop but could afford the $150. towing fee. I will never use Big O again!

Took them 3 months and a ton of money just to diagnose my issue. Then wanted another $2k to fix the issue they were supposed to fix all along. Referred me to an electrician saying "it's 100% an electrical issue." Pay the electrician $150+ only to tell me that it's not an electrical issue and to go back to Big O. I felt cheated and robbed. I have absolutely 0 trust in Big O on Folsom Blvd.

(Rating numbers not working on survey.) Showed up without an appointment for oil and filter change and tire rotation. All bays were full, plus several cars waiting but my car was done in an hour with no pressure to do or by things I knew I didn't need.

I was quoted a 1 hour wait for an oil change and it ended up taking 2.5 hours. Plus, they didn't even check my alignment which would have taken another 30 plus minutes. I purchased a prepaid oil change package which is only valid at the Folsom Blvd location. This is the only reason I will be back. John

I had my oil changed at Big O and after that I had an oil leak. I took my car back and let them know I had the leak and they fix one on my radiator. I took it back to them again and it took the hours to put a bolt in my oil pan, They charged me for Motor Oil, Oil pan bolt, replace oil pan gasket and oil filter housing gasket. I did not authorize all this when I left my car there and no one called me to authorize the work. I had just had my oil changed there less than 3000 miles on that oil change. I was charged $782.43. This place is a rip off. They put on the invoice that they spoke to me in person at 8:44 am talked to me in person about a gasket (he spoke to me about a bolt) and 1:46 pm it says her spoke to me in person about the oil pan gasket( I never talked to anyone at this time I was at home.) they did not call me or speak to me in anyway

I heard so many good things about this place and when I got there I was treated so poorly I went to one desk and was told not now I'm busy I went to the next desk and was told can't you see I'm doing paperwork,I only want to check in I sat down and watched others walk in and get service with a smile after 30 minutes I just left , I just cannot believe the poor customer service I received from them, I dint even get a chance to let them know I had call prior to coming in and that I could come right in to get my breaks changed.

Went to big o tires for a tire patch. They ended up telling me I had to get all of my tires replaced. They just so happened to not have any brands but their own "big o" brand tires. Went from wanting to spend $100 to $879. Plus their alignments are $120 which is way too much.

Was very happy that even though they were very busy, managed to complete my repair within a day and even helped me put the spare back.

It took almost 8 hours to get my car back from a simple oil change. They still did not have time to do the alignment inspection.I believe it was because I came with in a purchased package deal I paid less than $2 that day - even though I came in at 9:00 pm - I was put at the bottom of priority.I will not go back to collect on the rest of the package, I am that upset.

Oner refused to align check alignment unless I had my rear brakes replaced. I went to Les Schwab And they told me my brakes are good for 8000 to 10,000 miles on them so I had Les Schwab do my alignment. We been useing Big O for Approximately 15 years for all are cars maintenance and service.

I had an appointment for 2 p.m. and arrrived a few minutes early.I told the person I would be waiting for my car. he said 2 people were out sick and it would take a little longer.they finished at 4:45 p.m.the entire time the tv was on a sports channel, so nothing to watch.just had to wait.I made an appointment and should not have had to wait so long for service.when they talked to me on the phone in the a.m. they should have said there would be entensive delays and suggested another day.

I had a screw in my tire. They were able to repair it while I waited in under an hour.

I brought my car back to have a bolt tighten on the bottom of the shock that Big O installed because it was causing a rattle. I was told everything was tight but I should replace the rear end links at $189. I drove it home after hanging out for 6 hours at the store. It still rattles and the bolt is still loose. I am going back today with a picture of the bolt that I can put my finger on and move. I believe I did not need the rear end links and should be refunded the money. I don't believe the mechanic tightened anything and certainly not that bolt.

As always I was very satisfied with the work that was done on my truck.
