These guys are extreemly unworthy of whatever certifications they supposedly hold as mechanics. I brought my 2014 civic in for a Transmission fluid flush. I left the keys with the lady and they redeemed my yelp voucher that I had prepaid for. $50 for $100 of service. I take an uber home and was looking forward to getting some sleep since I work nights. Almost as soon as i hit the sac I get a call from the lady saying that the plug where they put the transmission fluid was not securely in the hole, and that there is transmission fluid all over the place and further that the dipstick is "missing"�. I told them that I had brought the car to a competitor named House of automatic transmission and that they had done the same thing but after them doing some research they were able to take care of the isssue and service my vehicle just fine. At that point the lady decided to put me on with the head asshole who I could already tell as soon as he started talking had made up his mind that he was not going to help me. I told him the same thing, he pulled the whole "right to refuse service for any reason"� card and I said he was extreemly unprofessional. I got out of bed, and took another uber back. I walked in exhausted and pissed off. I told them that I was invested in that Big O tires and that I go there all the time, i have had lots of work done there, flats, bought two sets of tires from them in one year even... they treat me like they've never worked on my car and they're not going to risk working on my car just because its not in pristine factory quality condition. I've never been denied service for such a pathetic reason, the car is in excellent condition, its a 2014 and yes it has a lot of miles on it but it was only going in for fluid replacement not repairs. I took the car to a much less expensive place, Young's auto on fruitridge, they changed my oil and transmission fluid for $123.00. In 20min they were done, this included all fluids oil filter and Hfc-2 transmission fluid. Big o was charging $140 just for the transmission. Lots of people on Yelp are saying don't go to this Big O and they were right! 3 stars on yelp is generous, i even have a 5 star rating on there for past work but that will be gone soon. I have had good service from the Big O in El dorado hills and from a location in the bay area atleast once. From now on i'll probably just get my tires from America's tire or Pep Boys since Costco doesn't like uber and lyft drivers. Ok so maybe you want to know why this so outragious? Its because it turns out, that the 2014 civic doesn't even have a dipstick, you simply have to look up the number of qt that it takes and the type of fluid, drain it and fill with that amount. Easy! A bit of fucking research would have gone a long way. As for the plug not being in the hole, I think it could have been from over filling of the tranny and pressure prob popped it off. But despite the plug being off there was no major spillage and it has been 1.5 years maybe since I went to house of automatic transmission. If you're saying you have a service, then be an expert don't bring your mechanic questions to the customer...Idiots, I dare not go back to that location. I'll get my tires rotated at another location till they need to be replaced.

I went in to ask to get a nail removed from my tire they told me that there were 2 nails close together and could not be repaired so i went to wto and they fixed the tire think you are trying to create more money for yout gready company we will never go there again

I took my honda CRV for a check due to a noise from the wheel. Got charged $20 for diagnostic.The estimate was over $700, 2 hours of labor at $105.The rest was for parts.The parts were much more expensive than the Honda dealer.A rip off on the parts.Shame.

I brought my truck in because the "check engine " light came on. When repaired, it was one of the many sensors dealing with the gas tank. So that was taken care of and again the check engine light came on . Same problem. well, the check engine light doesn't come on but there is a strong smell of gas coming from the truck. Went to get gas this morning (6-30-2016) and when the tank was full, it was like a river of gas coming out of the tank itself. I will be taking my truck to another shop to have this problem resolved as I can not trust the ability of your technicians to do the most basic things, like reconnect the gas tank properly. At this time I would not recommend this Big-O for anything but tires and even then........

As I mentioned to my tech, I do not plan to return to the store. I do not trust what I am told during each of my many visits over the 15 years (and thousands of dollars) I have given this business, as each and every time I have visited there has never been a normal situation. Always, ALWAYS something bigger is wrong and requires extra expense. Looking at one individual visit I can understand the need to fix something bigger than replacing a tire or two. When it is every time i begin to doubt the word of the shop. I will be looking for a tire store that I feel is not constantly trying to squeeze more money out of me.

They gave me unrealistic wait time and I had to wait almost 6 hours. Plus they told me to come back because my brake light is till on!! Charged me $550 and did not fix the problem!! The most annoyingis I have to go back and wait more. They don't know why light is still on!!

You have an outstanding staff. Leslie and the gentleman who changes the oil, and the person who supervises the crew outside, are all extremely friendly and are consistent with the fine service they provide. Thank you for employing such fine people . They are the reason I will continue to visit Big O.
