I love my experience today at Big O Tires in Carmel, IN! Jason and his crew got my oil change and new tires done fast! My previous experience with Big O Tires at the location on West 86 street in Indianapolis, IN was good but I'd have to make an afternoon for just getting my oil changed, I would be there for 2 to 3 hours at that location just hanging out waiting for my car to be done. Here at the Carmel location they got me in and out so fast! I knew I needed new tires for my car, I was told at discount tire that I could possibly make it through the winter but then I would need to replace them... turns out I needed them now! Jason said that it was a safety hazard and if it snowed tomorrow, I'd end up in a ditch! They really cared for my safety!

Used to be, when it was Joe's, I was greeted with a smile. The service tech expected me, knew what vehicle was being serviced, and reviewed my service when I arrived. Not any more - I get the feeling they don't care if I have work done there or not. I have to tell them why I am there and review everything that I put on the appointment request - they don't even check my service record to make sure I'm getting work done as in the past - oil change for instance. I've always used synthetic oil in all of my vehicles - it's in my record, but the last time I went in I received regular oil, they didn't even ask what I wanted. When I said oil change I thought they would look at my record. The Big O appointment system puts an extra layer between me and Joe's. I used to get a call to talk about my service and confirm the details - not any more. This last time I had an oil change and had to wait almost 1 hour because they didn't have my filter, and I had an appointment - they knew I was coming in. Really not happy with the service anymore.

My service was really incredible. I called to get a price quote, and was immediately greeted by someone that could help. They assisted me in choosing a tire, and were able to get me in promptly for a change. The work was done swiftly and I have really enjoyed my new tires.

Brought my Infiniti into the store for an oil change and tire rotation. The oil change was done. When I arrived home I looked at the tires and the tire rotation had not been done.

Being a complete novice when it comes to my vehicle and what to do when something goes wrong, I feel completely comfortable bringing it to Joe's. I have been coming here almost exclusively for the past 16 years and have always been satisfied with the work that has been done to my vehicles. I trust the work and all of the employees. I know that they will not steer me wrong and will do the work at a fair price.

I recently took my Jeep in for a simple check engine & oil change light that were stuck "on". After receiving a call that I needed about $350 worth of additional services, I had the additional work done and picked up my car the following business day. As soon as I drove off the lot I noticed a large screw on the floorboard under the steering console (which was concerning), my change oil light was STILL on, AND my left turn signal was out. I immediately called and reported the issues and took my Jeep back that evening. They fixed the turn signal, but the change oil light was still not re-set. 4 days later, my engine over-heated on the highway. Since the work I had done should have addressed any engine issues, they fixed what turned out to be a leaking radiator hose for free, but at this point I had to return 3 times just to get the job done right, and had to leave my car overnight. Such a waste of time and a big inconvenience. Not to mention, after driving off the lot for the 3rd time yesterday, my RIGHT turn signal is now out. I will not be taking my Jeep back to Big O again, and would not recommend their service department to anyone.

Garrett is incredibly helpful and friendly! I brought my car in to get a tire replaced (always buy the warranty), and was in and out in a little over 30 minutes. They even pulled my car up close to the door since it was cold and rainy.

You replaced my brakes on both axles on my car a couple of months ago. The brakes squeaked terribly the minute I pulled it out of your parking lot. I thought it would go away but it didn't. I brought the car back as your advisors told me that it probably was glaze on the brakes. I brought it back on Saturday to have that fixed. I drove my car on Sunday morning and the brakes still squeak. I've had brakes fixed on cars before. I had my Ford Explorer in to your shop in May 2016 and have had squeaky brakes on that vehicle as well. I have never experienced this problem with any other company that has replaced brakes on my vehicles. I don't know why it has happened twice to me at your shop. I have to get brakes on my daughter's car and will have to go elsewhere so I don't have 3 cars with squeaky brakes.

Once more great service on my new (to me) Chevy Malibu Hybrid. Reed, as usual, helped me clear the a problem with the drivers info panel. He remains the Godfather of my cars for about the tenth time.

I would love to speak with Joe if possible. My car has been at the Carmel location since Thursday and I have had to borrow vehicles from work to get back and forth to my job. I understand that things don't always go smoothly when doing repair work and sometimes parts are hard to get, but the communication has been absolutely awful. I have had to call and stop in to get the status of my car, only to find out it will take another day. I have heard nothing but good things about Joe, and I'm sure he would not appreciate the lack of customer care in this situation. 317-985-0305

I called in ahead of time to get a time estimate, I was told an hour and a half. I brought my car in 15 minutes later and was told an hour or worst case two hours max. 3 hours later I finally hear from the shop trying to sell me alignment. We I got to the store, there was no mention of the time wasted just a horrible joke about needed a blood sample. I would have planned my day differently or taken it elsewhere if I knew it was going to be three hours to simply change a tire. Will not return or recommend.

They told me I had to fix my leaky oil and tried to charge me to replace the spark plugs as well. If I hadn't of asked then they never would have told me the spark plugs had nothing to do with the oil. They just assumed they needed to be changed. They never even asked me the last time I replaced them.

I wanted to be able to give this store a good review. I was OK with the spending the unbelievabley high price for tires. What I wasn't ok with is the mechanic who decided to go at my lug nuts with a pneumatic tool that was calibrated for a racecar pit stop. After splitting most of the lugs or spinning the lugs in the tool he decided it was a good idea to come tell me. it went something like this "hey bub, you need new lugs. I split this one and spun this one. He (the manager on the phone) will tell you how much it'll cost". So while I waited to talk to the manager I watched the mechanic take a cutting tool to my remaining lugs. So as he did this I asked how I was gonna get home later or to work the next day, he ran into the shop but it was too late. The new unbelievabley expensive lugs weren't going to be available to the next day so I had to be rented a car. This was the only thing I felt that was fair. I paid an exorbitant amount for the work completed on my vehicle on top of a warranty that most other places give just include in their servic. In the end I just felt ripped off. Which is the general feeling most people get when I tell them my experience. The manager did seem to want to help me best he could, but it still felt like I was getting ripped off.

I brought my car in for a new tire because of something in my existing tire and left the car overnight. Garrett called me the next day giving me options to replace the tire. Very quick service and took care of my car quickly even though I didn't have an appointment
